Steel City Just Announced The FULL NEW DLC PACK But Is It Worth Buying?
Yo, what’s going on my people? It’s your big homie Crooks the Gray aka CTG and I’m back at you guys with another banger of an undisputed news video. And in today’s video, Steel City finally put out the full DLC pack and everything that’s going to be included in it. But is it actually worth buying? Now, I wanted to make this video because a lot of people in the comment section of my last couple of videos where I’ve talked about DLC have asked me, “Hey, Krooks, is it actually worth getting the DLC pack?” So, in order for me to answer this for you guys, we’re going to go in, we’re going to break down exactly who’s in the DLC pack, what’s being brought with the DLC pack, and then I’ll tell you guys based off of that exactly if I think the DLC pack is actually worth buying. So, with that being said, let’s go ahead and jump straight into it, ladies and gentlemen. All right, my people. And here we are with the full DLC pack, the Senator DLC pack that’s going to be added to Undisputed on October 28th, which I’m excited, man, is what, only 4 days away, something like that. And it’s going to be headlined by Manny Pacquiao. Now, in order for us to determine whether or not this DLC pack is going to be worth the money that you’re going to spend on it, we we’re going to go off two different things. Number one, who is being brought and who’s being added to the game in the DLC pack. And then number two, what is the price going to be? So, with that being said, let’s go ahead and jump into the first thing that we have is who exactly is going to be added to the game and the caliber of boxers that are going to be added to the game. So obviously we have Manny Pac-Man Pacquiao. His resume speaks for itself. You know what I’m saying? An eight an eight division champion. Uh I mean one of the most globally recognized boxing superstars of the last decade if not longer. You feel what I’m saying? And so I mean his resume just speaks for itself, right? So we and on on the right of him we got Edgar Berlonga who I feel like was a pretty big name. uh I’m not like a super big name, but was on the rise, especially with his beef with uh with Caleb Plant. That fight was was brewing. Um unfortunately, I feel like his his stock kind of took a hit obviously off of losing to Hamza Shiraz uh in his last fight and he not only lost, he got he got dominated and got KO’ed. Uh so I feel like his stock kind of took a little bit of a hit, but for the current newer generation, he is he is an upand cominging fighter. Then you got Vinnie Paz over here to the left. I mean, if you don’t know who Vinnie Paz is, you need to go back and watch some some old school boxing. I’m not gonna lie. He’s he’s a he’s more of a hardcore boxing enthusiast fighter. You feel what I’m saying? So, he’s he’s a pretty big deal himself. Then you got Mean Machine up here, you know, a big deal. A big deal. Uh you got Exus, I think that’s what his name is, featherweight title holder. Um, ironically, this guy, uh, this guy is one that he knocked out Billy Dib. So, he split decision Billy Dib and then knocked Billy Dib out in their second fight. So, yeah, featherweight title holder. Pretty pretty solid name to be added. Then you got Ricardo Mayorgga. And Ricardo Mayorgga, this dude, man, I remember when I first learned about him as a kid, it was off of his fight or his not even his fights, but his his pressure with Shane Mosley, Sugar Shane Mosley, where he slapped the cigarette out of uh or Shane Mosley slapped the cigarette out of Ricardo Mayorg’s mouth. That was probably one of the funniest things to see. And he was a showman, man. He would be taunting and doing all this stuff in the ring. It was crazy. But he backed it up. He really, really did. And he fought some absolute legends of the game, man. He fought Vernon Forest. He fought uh Oscar De La Hoya. He fought Sugar Shane Mosley. Uh he fought a lot of people, man. An absolute legend of the sport and one of the more entertaining guys of his generation. I mean, he did some antics that were that were crazy. I think he even smacked Sugar Shane Mosy’s girlfriend’s ass, I believe, or something like that. He was crazy, bro. He was crazy. And then to the far left over here, you got Sergey Kovalev. If you guys don’t know who Sergey Kovalev is, he was by far one of the scariest dudes to fight in light heavyweight. I mean, he was knocking people out. And when I mean he was knocking them out, there’s I always look at KO artists in two different categories. guys that TKO people and have punching power and then there’s guys that have power to just knock people stiff like to where you think they done killed a man. And that was Sergey Kovalev. Sergey Kovalev actually he actually had somebody pass away in the ring after he fought them because of his his punching power. He was that scary. And I mean he was crazy back in the day. And the fights with him and Andre Ward were massive, man. and they were super competitive for the most part. Um, so competitive that even in the first fight a lot of people thought that Andre Ward lost that fight. Uh, because he got sat down by Kh Sergey Kovalev early in the fight. I think it was in the second round. So Sergey Kovalev a really really solid pick. Um, and even in fights against even in his fight against Canelo Alvarez it was he was winning some rounds and he could have even been up. I got to reook at the scorecards, but I believe he was up at at one point in that fight before Canelo came back and eventually stopped him. But all right, I don’t even think he stopped him. I I’m not sure. I got to go back and relook at that fight. But so Kovalev really really solid name. So overall, this DLC pack along with the ring attire for Ryan Garcia, Terence Crawford, Deontay Wilder, Shawn Porter, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Heather Hardy is a solid one. It’s a solid one. you got some really solid boxers being added to the to the game with this pack that’s coming out. So, that checks off box number one. But box number two to determine whether or not this DLC is actually going to be worth the money is going to be the price of the DLC itself. Now, the price of the DLC itself, if we go back and really look at, in order for us to figure out the price of the DLC itself, we got to go back and take into account what the the prices of the other DLC’s were, which the problem child pack, the Mexican Monster pack, the takeover uh the takeover pack, the steel and iron pack, they all generally sat around 16 to 17 bucks, maybe 18 bucks if I remember correctly. I think Jake Paul’s was maybe like 20 bucks um if I remember correctly, but it doesn’t normally jump over $20. So, I would anticipate this DLC pack probably being around 18 bucks if you don’t have the WBC edition of the game. But in case you guys didn’t know, um if you do own the WBC Deluxe Edition of uh of Undisputed, it does give you a slight discount, like a dollar or two discount on all DLC packs. So, this DLC pack will generally be sitting around $16, $15 depending on, like I said, if you if you have the WBC uh deluxe edition of the game. But with that being said, is this actually worth is this DLC pack actually worth the $15 to $16? I would say yes. I would say yes because of who is being added to the game. Manny Pacquiao himself. A lot of people would pay just $15 just for him. You feel what I’m saying? And whether you believe that’s right or that it’s wrong, it is what it is. People would pay $15 just to play with uh Manny Pacquiao standalone in this game. But the fact that we’re getting, you know, Vinnie Paz on top of that, you’re getting a newer current generation boxing uh boxing star if you want to call him and Edgar Banga, but you’re getting legends like Ricardo Mayorgga. You’re getting a legend like Sergey Kovalev, and then you’re getting Ming Machine and Exus on top of that. I mean, overall, that makes for a pretty solid DLC pack. If I had to give this DLC pack a rating, I would probably give it around a seven or eight. uh just obviously based off of Manny Pacquiao, but I think that it’s worth it. I think that it’s worth the $15 to $16 that they’re probably going to be charging for the DLC pack. But I want to hear your guys’ opinion. Do you guys think this DLC pack is going to be worth the money? And what do you think about this DLC pack as a whole? Do you guys like it? Do you guys not like it? Do you guys wish that they would have added somebody different? I want to hear your guys’ opinions.
