The next BEST F1 Game in 2025 just got NEW DLC!

    The next best F1 game of 2025 just got better with a brand new DLC. This is Raw Power for Formula Legends. We’ve got a couple of DLC cars which look insane, including Emerald 191, a sleek early ’90s contender known for its elegant lines and breakthrough aerodynamic design. The Superbolt A2, a daring late ‘7s experiment that pushed engineering to its limit with a radical groundhugging profile. and the Beta Borneo, a modern-day powerhouse from the 2020s, blending cuttingedge aerodynamics with uncompromising performance. And alongside this DLC, there’s also a free update to the game that improves general racing with the AI and also the handling to give you a new handling option. So, you know, really, genuinely, this is all the hallmarks of a classic F1 game. You know, the EA F1 game has constant handling updates and AI changes. Now, this was a lot of fun to play last time. You guys really enjoyed the first video, and the developers have kindly given me a code to check out the DLC. Let’s dive in. So, loading into the game, we’ve still got the original handling. The alternative new one is for experiencing a different responsiveness and higher steering sensitivity. So, maybe a little bit more accuracy needed with the driving. So basically maybe more realistic sort of handling whereas the original one was like a lovely little blend of like arcadey but still you had to kind of think a little bit about the corners. I personally loved the original handling but let’s check out the alternative one as well. Just checking out these DLC cars. So this 2020s one basically just seems like the the craziest on steroids modern F1 car. Um with all the arrow you can see all the bargewood area. You’ve got so many end plate fins on the rear wing. Like look at that. That’s like Adrian Newi’s dream over there uh on the end plate. I can actually zoom in here. Let’s zoom in a bit. We’ve got like five little winglets going on. So that’s just kind of on steroids. The the 2020 cars. This is the Jawsy car. So this is the I think the the ‘9s style car. So big big nose uh very in your face frontwing end. And then the rear end really nicely with the little ties as well to kind of keep the the rear wing attached to the car per se. And then the last one which is perhaps the coolest car of the three because it’s so low profile like low to the ground. You’ve got the open air engine and look at that rear wing. Actually, I want to just notice how big the end plates are creeping over. It’s insane. Like that is a monster. That is a monster. That is a cool car. And hopefully we can drive it, I think. Okay, here we go. We’ve got it. We’ve got it. This is This is the one we want. I think out of the three, this is the mo most interesting one. I’ve also also only just noticed, look how like rear ended this entire car is. Like the guy’s knees are basically going through and becoming front wings essentially. Like there’s no front end to this car. What drivers have we got? Jockim Moss and Renato Ptosa. I like the name Jockim Moss. Let’s go for that. And we’re doing it at the Green Forest GP Germany. I think modeled after the Nurburg Ring, I want to say. Yeah. No. Yeah, definitely modeled after the Nurburg Ring. So, I don’t think we did this in the first video. I didn’t even clock as well, by the way. Choosing that track. We’ve got different versions. So, we’ve got the the classic version of Nurburg Ring. We’ve got the modern version, and then we’ve got the full vintage, the full like well, this this game’s version of the Nordifer. Hey, the F1 game could never give us the full Nifer and the original track, let alone even the German Grand Prix in the game. I keep saying it every single year, at least once in a video. Bring back Hawken. Bring back the Nurburg Ring into the F1 games for goodness sake. All right, we’re jumping in here. Tie. I’m going to go. It doesn’t look like it’s raining, right? Hards. Let’s just go for hards. Okay, we’re getting on the way. I’m not going to time this right, am I? I couldn’t do this last time. Oh no. Perfect. Oh. Oh. Oh, we’ve absolutely minced them. Come on. Good start for us. We’re at the back, by the way. Right now, if I go to settings, we’re on original steering. So, let me just see how it is for one lap again. Kind of re re how it was cuz it’s been a little while since that first video. Oh my god. Absolute terrorism by one of the AI into turn one. I like that to be honest. I mean, the the improved AI racing was about, you know, trying to curtail collisions and whatnot. For one, I’m all for it. Okay. In this sort of game, I feel like you kind of need chaos to get a little bit more extra entertainment as we cut the corner beautifully there. And now coming to Oay Banking L. That is a huge B. I love that. That’s really good. That that’s not there in uh well I suppose that the hair pin at Nur Nurburg Ring at the GP circuit. There is the banking hairpin but that is even more dramatic than it is in real life as we’re gaining here. So, right now it’s coming back to me, you know, solid handling, like nice kind of fun arcadey, you know, it’s comfortable but intuitive in a weird way um for for the kind of game it is. Like it feels weird that it’s like quite natural when you pick up the controller. But now, as we go on to the next lap, let’s switch this over to alternative. So, this is the more responsive handling where you maybe need a bit more accuracy allegedly. Let’s try it. Okay. How’s this going to be? I’m preparing. Oh my. Oh, okay. Okay. Definitely needing a little bit more nuance with the steering. And there’s definitely a bit less like it’s not like, put it this way, it kind of now feels like the original handling was pulling me into every corner to kind of keep me going the right way, whereas now I am entirely in charge of where we’re turning. But you know what? I’m liking it. I’m liking it. This more accurate handling means that oh, okay, it’s easier to make a mistake like that. But if you get it right, you’re going to go quicker, I reckon, because you’re entirely in charge of the car now and you can be really, really accurate with it. So, I’m liking it. Let’s see if we can get down inside there. Oh, I’ve cut the corner massively. It’s fine. It’s fine. the FIA, whatever they’re called in this game, probably like the the the judging panel or whatever, you know. We’ve got WRS for the wind reduction system. So, what what’s the FI going to be called in this? Let’s go to the top down view. See if that’s going to help me. Oh, go on. Oh, yes. Oh, that worked out a treat. That’s exactly what I was looking to do. Let’s go. Here we go. On board. Oh, here we go. I’m now locked in, baby. Where are we? We’re fourth place. Okay, we can get the win still. We can get the win. Here we go. Easy, easy. Locked in. Oh. Oh, we’re cooking. Let me cook. Let me cook. Yes. Oh, we just about nailed that. Oh, look. Oh, look at that. Oh, nice. That rear end view is sick. Hang on a minute. We need to look at that rear end more. That rear wing and open engine looks so so good. Right, dive down the inside here. Beautiful. Oh, we are actually cooking. Ignore that. Ignore that. We did ride the curb a fair bit, but we didn’t get caught out. Am I having to serve a penalty at some point? Or does the penalty get added on for that corner cut? Then we’ve got four laps after this. So, I reckon we could probably outdrive the penalty, but we need to get into first first and foremost as we try and go for the switch back. Oh, I’ve been absolutely done there. I switch back thin air. That was the Ferrari experience. That was that was the equivalent of Vettle’s engineer in 2016. Pockenheim going, “Do you want to undercut?” Undercut what, brother? There’s nothing to undercut. And uh in that regard, I I tried to switch back thin air and didn’t really make anything of it. Right. We’re gaining though. Easy. I’m liking this alternative handling. I actually think it’s once you get used to the sensitivity, it’s much better. I It’s like It feels better for me cuz you’re in total control of the car, which for some people won’t be great. Like you might prefer the original, which is fine cuz I think the original was fun and this is fun as well, but I definitely think you could probably go quicker with this alternative handling now once you get used to it. Tire stat is 50% durability. Oh, do we have to make a pit stop? Oh, okay. Okay. Also, by the way, I just noticed that we’ve got the This is a different heads-up display to what we had in the first video, isn’t it? This is the retro, you know, every era of F1 you do in this game is a different heads-up display to match that sort of era. So, I’m loving the bottom right. It is sick. I love that old rev counter. Really cool. And the and the top left as well. Very reminiscent of the uh the old school TV broadcast graphics is I’m feeling the tire wear now. That’s one thing that’s a little bit worse feeling uh with this new handling is you’re feeling it a lot more with the tire slipping a bit. It’s like rumbling the controller as as the tire slips. Do I come in? Should I come in? I feel like we could probably I reckon we could come back at these guys. We’ve got 3 seconds on them. Screw it. Let’s come in. Let’s Oh, blocked off. No. Oh no. Yeah. It’s fine. My pit stop was so bad though. I lost probably like 5 seconds and we’re 8 seconds down the road. So, honestly, if I lose this race and don’t even gain to the next car, it’s because of my awful pit stop. Oh no, we’re so I was going to say we’re so good and then I just drove into a wall. Oh, they’re Oh, they’re losing pace. Oh, last lap. Is it going to be a last lap of dreams? They’re losing pace. Their tires are going off. Oh, their tires are minced. We’re g We’re catching so rapidly. Come on. Nice. Oh, no. No. Oh, I’ve I’ve I’ve bottled it. I’ve bottled it. We should have got even We should have got third. We should have got second. No. Well, that just shows this game isn’t just accelerate and break and just uh you know, arcade your way through. It is actually, especially with the new handling now, requires a little bit of skill, bit of nuance to actually go quick. So, uh, it’s not, um, yeah, there is actually a bit of a skill gap to this game. Oh, we’re still gaining, though. Send it. Oh, no. Oh. Oh, look at my wheel. Oh, the suspension’s a bit bent. Bloody no. Hey, hey, hey. Oh, who was that? Oh, god. Well, that was a that I I enjoyed the look of that car. The the feel of that car was great. What’s the like the current like the the crazy modern car going to feel like that’s going to be like on rails surely. Oh yeah, I forgot there’s Monaco in this game. Did we didn’t do Monaco last time, did we? Let’s go Monaco. Oh, here we go. The world beater, the better Bron. We’ve got Mickey Canank. I said that. So, look at that. He’s got tire wizard tire consumption decreased. And then we’ve got oh Aruro Giovenastri. That’s a good one. That’s a good one. So it’s it’s Giovanati and Reichen from their Alfa Romeo days as teammates. And that makes sense. Obviously the development team is based in Italy. So it’s an Italian uh liveried car for this world beater it seems like cuz I think compared to the other cars, this has got more acceleration and better handling. And then we’ve got Tire Wizard with uh I’m not going to try and say Mickey Kakan. Let’s go for it. Let’s go for it. I’m excited for this car. Oh, it’s that’s cute. Oh, it’s the Was it the casino square? Casino square with the statue instead of being like the actual one. It was just a a little uh animated guy in the middle. Oh, here we go. Oh, Monica. We should have done Monaco in the first video. Here we go. I’m glad we’re coming back to this game to try out Monaco with the DLC car. Come on. Uh, what? We’re a tire whisperer, so surely we just go for soft, right? I think we’ll be all right with soft. Or do we go medium? I think some of them are on hard. Let’s go medium then. I think we could get to the end of the race basically. Right, here we go. I feel like this view I feel like it should help me take in more of the track, but maybe it’s not. Maybe I need to go more inwards like blinkers on. just focus on the next corner rather than the entire one as that corner is a death trap. I suppose that that’s Mirbo, is it? So, no wonder that is the equivalent of Mirbo, right? I need to go into a flow here. All right, here we go. We’re going to use some ERS. Bit of battery. We’re back. We’re into 11th place. So, we’ve gone a little bit slower than we were on the first attempt, but we’re gaining now. Oh, lot of traffic even on this game. Monaco difficult to overtake at. Can I do the rest? Oh, I need to try a Ras dive bomb on this game. That would be insane. Right, here we go. Bit more battery use. I’ve used all the battery for this lap. It’s fine. It’s fine. Oh, there’s been an AI mistake. AI crash. See you along, sucker. All locked in. Locked in. Mirabo. Yes, we got a SW. Oh, we nearly went around the outside the hair pin. It’s Alonzo, I think, by the helmet. I think that’s Alonzo. Come on. We’ve got to get the fake Alonzo surely. Come on. And hopefully our tire wear is going to be pretty good compared to everyone else with that added benefit of driving is uh I can’t even remember what it was. M Mickey Kuckan or something like that. Oh, it’s our teammate. It’s uh Geopanatri or something like that, wasn’t it? As we go down the inside. Beautiful. Oh, love. Oh, we actually nailed that. We actually cooked so hard there. Up to eighth. Good purple middle. Oh no, I locked up. I locked up. are locked up. Our teammates got us back. It’s fine. Here we go. Down the inside of Mirbo. Slow it down. Lovely. Okay, good, good, good. I feel like maybe already I’m feeling the the better tire wear here. Oh no. Saying that got absolutely cooked by our teammate. It’s fine. We’ll use battery. Gaining gaining. Okay, the three cars ahead of us are very close together. There is a opportunity are locked up again. It’s difficult, you know. Actually, genu Oh, got a bit of a wheel spin here. Oh, to the inside. Okay, now we are actually racing. Here we go. Tie’s at 50% durability. I think that’s fine. Surely the AI are worse. We’ve got that special power up. Here we go. Dive bomb again. My specialtity. Love it. Oh no. No. I took too much liberty with the pavement. Let’s go. Super zoomed out. Let’s appreciate the entire Oh god. Okay. Appreciating the entire Monaco track has just made me crash. Oh lord. What’s the most zoomed out? Is that most Yeah. No. This is actually if you enjoy driving like this, there is just no way. There is no way in hell that you are going that quick. Sure. Oh my god, my eyes can’t keep up with how quick we’re going. And now the tire is really kicking in and I’m feeling it even with the durability perk. We would have been cooked if we chose uh geopestri or whatever it was. Oh. Oh, we nailed that corner though. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Well, my driving certainly wasn’t decent, but that DLC certainly was really cool. I really love that first car we we took though, just to see that car in the flesh with the like lower down profile. And then the handling change genuinely really fun. Bit more accuracy. So it actually creates a bit of a skill gap in the game. So it’s only been like what a couple of weeks since the game came out or when we last played it, wasn’t it? When it when it first came out. So, if that’s the rate development with like, you know, added DLC and bits and bobs to this game and the developers continue on that same sort of level, um it’s it’s going to be really cool to see what they come up with next maybe and see what other cars they could add to the game basically.
