NEW DLC 20 ULTRA SUPERVILLAIN FRIEZA TRANSFORMATION REVEAL! Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Future Chapter 3
All right, you guys. Welcome back to the channel. Here for some more Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC pack 20 updates. We are now 6 days away from Future Saga Chapter 3. It’s going to be dropping here soon on October 30th. Stay tuned to the channel because we’re going to be doing this complete playthrough. So, this morning they went ahead and dropped this official art piece. You guys know for Future Saga Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and all the other DLCs, they usually have this promotional art thing that they use. Yeah, we have Future Saga Chapter 3 and our very first look at Ultra Super Villain Gen F. It’s cool how they’re technically trying to create their very own version of Frieza Black. That is his latest transformation from the Dragon Ball Super manga. You know what I mean? They kind of did this with Vegeta as well. But I’m glad we finally have confirmation because they teased this character at the very end of that one Cheline Broly trailer. Uh, a lot of us started to speculate, could it be fourth form Frieza? Could it be golden Frieza? I mean, a lot of us speculated correctly. Yeah, it is golden USV, but even his posture is something similar to Frieza Black from the DBS manga. We’ll go ahead and talk a little bit more about that. First and foremost, where the heck did this image come from? So here we have the official Dragon Ball website or you know their official Twitter page. Go ahead and click on this advertisement. It will take you over to the website and we just have talks about 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball. Pretty cool, you know, weekly quizzes uh just special events going on, new things that you can probably purchase like merchandise. But down here we have the Xenoverse 2 category. They do these weekly questions. I’m pretty sure this was the first one. This question is about Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Future Saga Chapter 3 coming October 30th. Which character is coming to the in-game Kton City? Hint, this character became friends with Broly. I mean, we all seen the trailer, right? They’re referring to Chili, but you go down here where it says detailed answer and then an additional image pops up. We have to zoom out a little bit just because we can’t see the full thing. You can see at the very bottom right there, Xenoverse 2 Future Saga Chapter 3. So, that’s where this image is coming from. It is official. It’s not fan-made, just in case if any anyone is wondering. So, let’s go ahead and break this down. Oo, I’m looking forward to it. So, first thing is first. If you take a look at the top left corner of the image, who’s that man? Corrupted Shenron. Dude, I said that as a joke. Are they watching the videos when they first revealed the icon for Future Saga Chapter 3? You know, the symbol for chapter 1 is the time ring. The symbol for chapter 2 is the crystal. And they revealed the symbol for chapter 3 is going to be Dragon Ball. And then I jokingly said, “Evil Ocean Shenron, but man, he has the corrupted eyes. Are you telling me F is powerful enough to apply the Ultra Super Villainous power boost over Shenron? That’s cool. I told y’all this story line is headed into a very cool, unique, fun direction. Something that we haven’t seen before. And yes, he is holding the onear dragon ballot right there. Man, this is interesting. How is the story mode going to be like? Again, story mode is something I’m looking forward to the most. One of the things obviously the characters are cool, but he does control Ultra Superist Golden Frieza with the power boost. And then he does arrive to Kanton City. We don’t necessarily know if Frieza themselves is the one that’s going to be destroying Kan City, which I’m assuming so. That’s my, you know, speculation behind it. It could even be Wrathful Broly himself because he does go berserk mode. You know what I mean? He can’t necessarily control his power just yet, at least at this point in time. He’s currently working on that in the DBS manga. But yeah, either or would be nice. uh F obviously his main goal is not necessarily giving Frieza that third stage power boost, right? His main goal is to get Shenron for his wishes. He has his own plots, his own ideas. He’s brewing things up in the background. He is definitely scheming out here. Now, if you’re wondering why the quality of this image is not necessarily the best is because the original format was like 160p. So, I had to upscale this. We’re working with what we got. Now, the two characters right here, they already confirmed Wrathful Broly via V Jump scans, two different scans, and then the official Dragon Ball website or Twitter page, they went ahead and dropped that one short teaser gameplay trailer of him with his transformation that alters the combo strings and they showcased one of his skill attacks, which was the evasive, right? We haven’t seen anything of Frieza yet just yet. DLC drops in six more days. I’m just glad that they dropped the official illustration art piece for Future Saga Chapter 3. We have something, but getting gameplay would be even better. I’m assuming they’re saving all that for the launch trailer, which could even drop sooner than the 29th. It could even drop the 27th, you know, after the weekend, Monday. If not 27th, then 28th. If not the 28th, then 29th. So that week, be on the lookout. Mark your calendars. We’ll be uploading everything frame one, day one. Now, we still could be getting additional reveals. Obviously, they haven’t confirmed anything in regards to the free update. So, looking forward to all that, but I’m talking about the paid contents. Uh, again, they have the two characters, Frieza and Broly, but we could, don’t quote me on this, but we could technically still be getting a third character. because they don’t always reveal all their characters in the promotional art piece. So, here we have Future Saga Chapter 1, of course, mainly focusing on the story mode with USV God Vegeta and USV Ros Goku Black. There were three other characters, Broly Restraint, who can transform, DB Super Videl, and DB Super Android 18. Right? So, that’s what I’m trying to say. They don’t reveal all their characters for the promotional art piece. So, going back over here, it’s not confirmed. Keep your expectations extremely low, but we could technically still be getting a third or even more character reveals. As I said before, I don’t think that’s likely just because they’re barely revealing Golden Frieza. We have about six days left. And this is something that they’ve been doing, right? They usually range between two and four characters. Now, going back to Future Saga Chapter 1, this was like an outlier or something. Correct me down below if I’m wrong, but this was the first DLC pack where we got five characters. Crazy. It’s usually two to four, sometimes five. Um, so if it is just two characters for this DLC, then so be it. Something that they’ve been doing. I’m looking forward to all of Golden Frieza’s skill reveals. We got Broly. We know that we’re going to be getting three, one from each category, super, ultimate, and evasive. So, applying all that over the CCS would be nice. But Frieza himself, I’m hoping to see at least three skills as well. Maybe even four, probably three. That’s a bit more reasonable. I feel like they’re going to be reusing a lot of the assets from previous Golden Frieza. Or maybe they could take an original skill that’s already in the game over Golden Frieza and then upgrade it, revamp it because that’s what they did for the corrupt Jiren, right? Didn’t he have original full power Jiren attacks but slightly different altered in a way? Yeah. So getting probably around three skills from Frieza for our CAC’s because we can’t usually apply those revamped attacks for the cast characters on our CACs. They have exclusive skills sometimes. Anyway, so if we get at least three new ones for our CACs, that would be cool. And then Frieza would have maybe like another skill, but that’s revamped from the original Golden Frieza arsenal. So technically, the cast character will have like around four skills if it gets any revamped editions. but three brand new ones for our CACs as well. That would be the best case scenario, right? So, yeah, going back over here, this is the Future Saga chapter 2. They did put every single character on the promotional art piece. It is slightly different. However, you can see they tried to divide Goku Mini over here just because he was free for the first week of DLC Fuji Saga Chapter 2. So that’s why they had it this way. Still part of the DLC pack after that week. You had to purchase the DLC to play as Mini Goku. But yeah, this was like different because they technically promoted him as a bonus as well as promoting the Dragon Ball Diamond anime at the time. And going back to F in the background, I like how something I just recently noticed. I’m not going to lie, but with each chapter, he’s holding the, you know, symbol or icon based off the DLC. So, again, the time ring, he’s holding that. Uh, chapter 2, he’s holding the crystal. This is something I barely realized. And going back to chapter 3, yeah, we got the dragon ball, man. Dude, what is chapter 4 going to be about? That’s the interesting thing. So, we do have, you know, just other people. Shout outs to Jennick within the community. Just kind of throwing this out there. Uh, the pose and the chest being black/ gray. Come on. They ain’t even trying to hide it anymore. And then says JK in parenthesis. But it’s kind of truthful in a way. I feel like they’re just, you know, since they can’t necessarily create content based off the Dragon Ball Super manga just yet because they usually wait for the anime, um, they’re Dims Bandai. They’re kind of taking their own route with the future saga and creating their own bootleg DBS manga characters. First one, we got Ultra Ego in in parenthesis. I guess you could say Vegeta, but in reality, it’s just corrupted God Vegeta. Uh they didn’t necessarily do anything fancy with DC2 from the manga or Future Saga Chapter 2, but now we have Frieza Black again, his latest transformation, a bootleg variation. Even the pose, which is what something Jennick pointed out. See how, you know, how he normally does his iconic Frieza pose with the foot over the other and his hands, his fingers are spread out, but this time around, you can see that they’re curled up in a fist. You see that right there? That’s literally the Frieza Black pose. Look at that. Same thing, bro. Same thing. Hey, I’m glad they’re doing this. They’re just having fun. I think it would be a bit cooler though if he had a bit more of the sinister power or the USV power boost around his body because it looks like there’s like zero progression at all with this corrupt stage. I mean, don’t get me wrong, they did state in the actual story missions that it’s kind of having this own power on its own. Fuse is not necessarily in control of it anymore. something along those lines. But going back to Vegeta, Rosé Goku, uh you can see how it only covers half their body, their torso area. Same thing with uh Jiren over here. I think it would be cool if with each future saga chapter, we slowly see the USV power boost consuming the entirety of the character because it’s kind of like the same thing, just like half of the body. Imagine if we got to see the progression, you know, having the sinister power cover Frieza’s whole head, the legs, just the entire model and then it’ll be the true Ultra Frieza form from the DBS manga. I like how the power boost alters the I don’t even know what you want to call these. You know how Frieza has like those shiny spots, the orbs like he has a crystal head? Yeah. Check that out. It changes from purple to red. Isn’t that cool? Having the red spots over his entire body with with the sinister color theme and the crystal just bulging out. That would have been too cool, bro. That would have been like the coolest thing ever. Ah, missed opportunity. And his eyes, maybe the power boosts could change the color of the eyes. We haven’t necessarily gotten to that point just yet, right? But it would be cool if they were still red. But yeah, definitely an epic theme right there for sure. This is it for today’s video. Just wanted to talk a little bit about this. Uh 6 days until the actual DLC releases. We’re going to be getting even more reveals soon. Hopefully, they drop, you know, more teases like this one here instead of waiting all six days or however many days until the launch trailer. I mean, it could be the very start of next week, Monday, the 27th, the 28th, or even the 29th. I’m looking forward to that. We’ll do this complete breakdown as well.
