WWE 2K25: New DLC Previews, New Region Added To World Tour, WWE 2K26 Voiceover Updates & More!
In this video, we have the latest roundup of wrestling game news, including the latest previews for the upcoming Saturday night’s main event pack in WWE 2K25. We got news of superstars recording voice over for 2K26. And we also have an update on the new regions coming to world tour as an expansion to the mode looks to be on the horizon. Before we get into any of that though, if you’re new to the channel and you want to stay up to date with all the latest wrestling game news, then please do hit that subscribe button and turn on your notifications so that you don’t miss out on future videos. So, let’s start with our first story as we’re talking WWE 2K25 and the upcoming release of the Saturday Night’s Main Event DLC pack, which is due to release on November 12th. Ahead of the release, the WWE Games social accounts have begun sharing previews for the pack. The first of which gives us our first look at Jesse the Body Ventura, who’s set to headline the pack, as his name is one that’s become synonymous with Saturday night’s main event as both a wrestler and an announcer. The inclusion of Jesse Ventura marks the first time that he’s appeared in a WWE video game or any wrestling game for that matter. Though, that’s not to say that he wasn’t once planned as back in 1992. And the developers of the Firepro Wrestling series released Thunder Pro Wrestling Retiden in Japan. And following the release, there were plans to launch a North American port of the game that would be marketed around Jesse and rebranded Jesse Ventura Wrestling Superstars. Speaking in an interview with Title Match Wrestling in 2018, Ventura revealed that the development of the video game was the main reason behind him leaving WWE and falling out with Vince McMahon. is after finding out that Ventura had signed on for the game, Vince tried to block him from the project and threatened that he’d be finished in the business if he went through with it. However, standing up to McMahon, Ventura decided to quit and continue with the project as he owned the rights to both his name and his likeness. Despite quitting over the game, the North American port was eventually cancelled for unknown reasons, though an unreleased version of the game did eventually make its way online. Getting back to the present and 2K25, Jesse the Body Ventura is finally set to make his long-awaited debut in the series, which is crazy to think considering how big a name he was in the late 80s and the early ’90s, as he’s one of just a handful of big names left to appear. And you have to think that part of the reason for that stems from the fallout over the unreleased port of Jesse Ventur’s Wrestling Superstars. Moving on to the second of the new DLC previews, we also got our first look at Mr. Wonderful Paul Orondorf as the WWE Games account went on to release his full entrance video which shows him making his entrance in the Saturday night’s main event arena. The footage of Mr. Wonderful confirms that the DLC will feature his WWF theme, I am a fighter. In addition to his entrance video, we also got some screenshots courtesy of the Paulorf Legacy account which is run by his son Travis as he shared this image featuring a screenshot of his father asking players, “Are you ready to be wonderful?” Alongside the screenshot, Travis tweeted, “On November 12, 2025, WWE 2K25 is nothing short of wonderful. I am forever grateful to Ramon, Navajo Warrior 2K, and everyone at WWE Games for their craftsmanship, the care, and the quality. You didn’t just raise the bar, you wrapped it in gold. And very soon, I will wrap my father’s waist in gold, too. Now, be honest. On a scale from 1 to 10, how wonderful is the detail on that robe? While the screenshot is lower quality due to its size, comparing it to photos of Paul, the likeness looks to be spoton as modeling team have done a fantastic job in recreating him. Following the initial reveal, Travis went on to share a second screenshot. This time taken from the inring portion of his entrance, which he compared to a photo of his father at ringside. This time tweeting, “I never thought I would share or see this in my lifetime. 11125 is wonderful. It’s a prayer I never prayed for, but was answered either way. Here’s another look at my dad’s DLC, courtesy of WWE 2K25. Much like Jesse Ventura, the inclusion of Mr. Wonderful in 2K25 marks the first time that he’s appeared in the series. Though it’s not his first console game, as he first appeared in 1987’s MicroLeague Wrestling for the AmIgga and the Commodore 64 before then going on to be featured in Legends of Wrestling 2 and its sequel, Showdown: Legends of Wrestling. More recently, he was also announced as a playable character for the upcoming game Ultra Pro Wrestling. Going back to the content in the Saturday night’s main event pack, there’s three more stars that are set to join Mr. wonderful and Jesse Ventura with those including Junkyard Dog who we last seen in Smackdown versus Raw 2006. Sid Justice who last made an appearance in 2K19 and then Tito Santana who’s the third star in the pack set to make their debut having never appeared in the series before. Similar to Mr. Wonderful though, Tio did appear in all three of the Legends of Wrestling games and he was also recently announced for the upcoming Ultra Pro Wrestling. The Saturday night’s main event pack is due to be released on November 12th, so stay tuned to the channel for more previews in the buildup to release. Up next, let’s talk my faction and the long- aaited update for World Tour as the mode hasn’t seen an update since midappril when we got new locations for Las Vegas, Denver, and Atlanta. Since then, the mode has been left untouched despite the hood showing an option to switch regions, which when pressed would ever so briefly flash up a map of Japan, which was set to be the next location. While there’s still been no announcements on the mode, it appears a new update may be coming in the very near future. As it was pointed out by ex user Twisted J that when trying to change regions, we now see the option for a third region. As sometime over the past week, the mode was updated to include a map of the UK. The map of the UK is visible when pressing L1 or R1 to change regions. As while the new area isn’t unlocked, the menu screen will briefly flash up with images of both Japan and the UK with the message not yet. Sharing more on the update, WWE games moyen has revealed that content for the new regions was also recently patched in as posting on X where he shared images of new arc cards that were added which are cards you unlock when completing the various chapters within each of the locations. Alongside the arc cards, Wii also revealed plans to add additional regions as alongside the upcoming Japan and UK expansions. He revealed that there’s also plans to include Riyad, Saudi Arabia, Abuja, Nigeria, and Acra, Ghana. The new locations line up with the upcoming world tour rewards that he shared back in October as it’s assumed that the Nigeria region will be linked to a new Orberi persona while the Ghana region is expected to feature Kofi Kingston. While these details were found within the game files, it’s important to note that plans may still change, so we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from 2K. Up next, let’s talk WWE 2K26 as given that the start of the game’s promotional campaign is drawing ever closer. Small bits of news is starting to trickle out. The latest rumblings is coming from PW Insider who shared an update on the production process and the involvement of several WWE superstars. The report states that select WWE talent have started recording voice lines for the upcoming game, though specific names have not yet been revealed. The update, which is incredibly vague, isn’t much of a surprise, as given that we’re around 5 months away from the release of 2K26, voice over for the likes of My Rise will now be a high priority as story lines are locked in. This time of year should also see the commentary team recording dialogue for the game, some of which may have already been recorded as alongside the update to Nikki Bella’s model in patch 127. The developers also included some updated entrance commentary for Nikki, suggesting that recording sessions for commentary may have already taken place or that the currently ongoing as due to the amount of commentary that the announcers have to record. These sessions are usually spaced out over multiple weeks and even months. In terms of any official news on 2K26, so far the only official update is confirmation that the game is currently in development as it was announced during 2K’s earnings call in May. Though it’s expected that any further updates will be held back until the new year as promotion for the game tends to begin in January. So that’s latest roundup of wrestling game news. Let me know what you make of it in the comments and stay tuned to the channel as I’ll have more DLC coverage leading up to the release. In the meantime though, if you missed the previous video rounding up the latest creations, I’ll leave a link to that on screen. But until next time, thank you so much for watching this video.
