Playing The NEW DBZ Game on Mincecraft (DLC)
Dragon Ball Z is finally on Minecraft. And that’s right, guys, this is official. As of just yesterday, we received a brand new trailer stating that Minecraft has an official DLC collaboration with Dragon Ball Z. And people have honestly been going crazy. People have been saying that this itself is coming from Dragon Block Seed, which is a modification to Minecraft that a lot of people seemingly love and are receptive of. Which also leads me to say RIP to the creator of said Dragon Ball Z mod on Minecraft because apparently he passed away earlier in 2018. I’ve actually never played Minecraft like that myself before. So, this should be a lot of fun, especially considering that I actually was thinking about starting a couple of different Minecraft mod video series here on the channel for you guys. So, this is the perfect thing to test that out. Okay, so here’s the DLC in the marketplace. This is how you’re going to be able to get the new DBZ DLC on Minecraft. So, this is going to cost you 1,510. I think they’re called mine coins. I I I don’t know. All I know about is Robux. So, as you guys can see over here, that basically equates to about nine bucks. And with that, you can get the DBZ DLC. Apparently, we have access to like a new world and a bunch of different skin packs with like different characters from the Dragon Ball world. And some of the screenshots here make it seem as if we have like boss fights as well. All right, so we are in game and that’s pretty cool. It seems that they have their own little soundtrack for this game. We can hold down the B key and we can have like various different emotes apparently. Now, as you guys can see on this screen over here, they do actually have a recommendation for vibrant visuals, which is some like visual toggle switch that you can customize in your settings on Minecraft. Uh, I don’t really know much of it. I only have a just gamma here, but I do have everything else maxed out. There is a bunch of settings on Minecraft as you guys can tell. All right, so we do have Bulma over here. We’re going to talk to her. She says, “You made it. I’ve been waiting for you. Everything’s almost ready for the Ten Kaiichi Burkai World Martial Arts Tournament.” All right. She says, “I’ll walk you through everything you need to know. Are you ready to enter the Tenkai Buudai?” I’m ready. Apparently, this is going to be like a little tutorial for the game. It says, “Welcome to simulation. Time to learn how to fight like a pro.” Is that Gohan looking around in the center of it? I think I think it might be Gohan. Oh, yeah, it is Gohan. Yeah. All right. So, how do I talk to Gohan? Oh, for this training session, you’ll be using Goku’s skills. Oh, and guess I don’t know. I couldn’t read in time. Now, they’re telling you, see that toolbar down there? That’s where your all your current abilities are. Apparently, as we’re attacking, that’ll fill up our little fighting meter, which I believe is right next to our HP in the bottom right hand corner. And once that thing is full, we can actually use our ultimate abilities, but regular abilities can be used at any time. Okay, so we just got our regular abilities. I’m going to go ahead and use them. I’m not sure how you actually Oh, shift to activate. That is a very weird keybind. Wait, what? Oh, it’s actually the M2 bind. All right. Yeah, it’s the M2 bind of usabilities, guys. So, there’s the key blast. So, let’s see if you can jump and handle flying. So, you double tap space bar to jump. They do have a kam as well, guys. I’ll go ahead and show you how that looks like. So, there you go. That looks funny. Okay, so that was pretty much the tutorial. Like the yo, the M1’s look hilarious on this game, I will say. Um, okay. Let’s block that. Let’s block all that. Thank you, sir. Now, this is actually crazy, bro. I’m not going to lie. What the hell is this, dude? Oh, come, brother. All right, Gohan is mingling me. We are literally getting hit for quite a bit here. Um, but we should be fine. I honestly don’t see how we failed this chat. I really don’t. Okay. Well, well, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Gohan, go on. Go on. Wait. Wait. Did I just I defeated Gohan, chat, I defeated Gohan. Yes. Okay. Now B’s telling us, “Welcome to Capsule Corporation. Try not to break anything.” All right. So, was that it for this tutorial? I mean, I think it was. I don’t know. Look, we have a little radio here. So, how do we interact with the Oh, I pressed the E key. But this is like my inventory. What the hell is all this? Well, it seems this is where you can make like a bunch of different things as far as like items and equipment and stuff. Oh, so apparently you M2 to interact with stuff. I don’t know. You guys are probably going to have to help me with this Minecraft stuff, dude. Because uh I’ll be honest with you. I don’t really know anything. See, and I’m trying to like move the camera around so Goku could face you guys, but I I can’t even do that. You’re off trash. I will say though, this area looks pretty nice over here. Like look at this. Oh, what is that actually? Is that a dragon radar? Oh my gosh. Yeah. So, apparently that’s a collectible and they have 31 of these in the world. That’s pretty cool. Now, they do have different locations in Capsule Corp. They have like a little Dragon Ball area over there. Then to the right of that, they have I guess this main area. And now we have like a versus section here. Let’s check this thing out. Oh, look at that. Bone’s in here. This area looks really cool, too. It seems that you can go here and just try to fight people. Yeah, look at that. They have like difficulties for it and whatnot. All right, we’re just going to explore and then we’ll see what we’ll do. But I am liking the detail of the stuff here. Oh, look. We found a little capsule behind a tree. So, this is a hoy poi capsule collectible. Now, it does seem that you could fly in here. I thought you wouldn’t be able to. Um, by the way, I figured out how to dash. Apparently, you can press control to dash. And I think I see another collectible. There it is. Oh, these are sensu beans, guys. Nice. Nice. I think maybe that’s all the collectibles in this area. I’ll let you know right now, if you guys are Roblox players and come to try to play this game, bro, the controls are like so scuffed. I’m going to have to like reconfigure key binds and everything cuz again controller is dashing/ running as you guys can tell like literally to fly dude you guys know it’s double space which is normal in DBZ Roblox games but like it’s uh it’s shift to go down like what I I don’t know it’s weird. Anyways, let’s go back into this room. So over here we have I don’t know it’s like a little museum. I think this is where you show off all your collectibles and stuff cuz there’s the capsule we collected the scouter. Uh we have pickables like turban or headgear whatever. Um and yeah I think this is where these will be showcased. Now we will interact with this thing here. Oh yes and they have like different achievements here. So basically clicking on an achievement will tell you how to unlock set achievement. All right chat. Well let’s go into the main room I presume. Apparently they’re telling Oh can we swim by the way? We should be able to right. And no swimming animations. Champ. Oh, you hate to see it. But yeah, here we go. Let’s see. Right, they’re telling us that Oh, this looks really nice. That uh effectively if we win the world tournament, we’ll unlock a new mode uh to explore. So, I don’t know. Let’s uh let’s click Goku here. Oh, never mind. I think this is where you actually select different characters to play as or train. So, where the heck Oh, look at that. That’s so cool. So, I was going to say like maybe that’s where we got to go. I don’t know. Maybe that’s a world tournament. But check this thing out. Uh, we throw this from our tool bar on the floor and that opens up a map. That’s super cool. Okay, let’s do easy to start things off and we will do Oh yeah, here we go. This is where you actually set game modes. We’ll do tournament here. All right, first off, Piccolo. Okay, this should be pretty easy, I think. Uh, this is round one out of like three. What’s up, Gengy? Are you ready, Piccolo? Yo, I cannot, bro. I’m like so bad when it comes to these controls. Call me high in your face, Piccolo. [Laughter] I will say this is pretty cool. I just My only wish would have been to have like better animations. Did I just die? Oh, I exited the tournament bounce. We’re flying, bro. What do you mean? Okay, we’re on round three now. So, maybe it’s multiple fights and it’s just like three rounds against Piccolo. I don’t know. So, all right, we’ll see what happens here. Now, we know that we can’t fly out of bounds even though we’re on the air or in the air. All right, Piccolo’s using his special D. I mean, special D. Oh, now that’s crazy. Uh, special beam cannon, but I win. Piccolo, I win. I’m just better than you. All right, chat. Round two out of three. Well, this is round three out of three. Uh, so whoever wins one, this one, excuse me, wins it all. We should be good to go. Now, to be honest with you, even after all this fighting, like I’m surprised we have not been able to use our ultimate, which is going to be the spur bomb. Now, here’s the thing, right? That fighting meter that we have activates or fills up as we hit people, but they really miss an opportunity to He’s out of bounds. Oh, I was about to say, bro, nah, bro. They’re tripping on me. If they did not DQ that man, they’re really glazing Piccolo. But yeah, in my opin Damn, we’re moving on to cell already. But in my opinion, they missed an opportunity to have key charging in the game. So, it’s a little unfortunate that we only have that fighting meter, which, you know, obviously just means that we got to Oh, I I definitely stepped out, but we’re going to ignore that. But yeah, they could have done a lot more if they had key charging in the game in my opinion cuz as it stands right now, it just takes way too many hits to fill up your ultimate. But like I said, that’s just my my two cents. So, all right, I’m going to be honest. I’m going to be honest, chat. Uh Cell is cooking me now. Surprisingly, I somehow won this one. I don’t know how. I don’t know why, but I won. So, I guess GG’s. Let’s see if we can do the same thing on round two here. I’m starting to realize that your best bet is to honestly spam your key blast as much as you can and to just maintain a distance cuz being close up is just detrimental to your health, honestly. Oh, do they have key? Oh, I thought they had like key beam struggles. I would that would have been nice, right? If they had like key beam clashes and whatnot. All right, I think Cell is cooked yet again, chat. I think we’re golden, baby. Okay, wait a minute. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, he cooked me. He was almost dead, though. All right, chat. We’re back at it again. I changed my mind, bro. I think you’re better off actually M1ing on him and spamming key blast in the process cuz Yeah, if you don’t, it seems that uh he’s just going to like cheese you over with the key blast or key beams. Now, we do have our Kaha ready. Can we Hello. Hello. Hello, bro. If he cooks me again, bro. No, I’m actually bad. How the hell do we get an achievement for losing a fight, bro? No. This game is tripping, bro. All right, chat. This time around I I made I made light work out of Piccolo, bro. I made light work out of Piccolo, bro. Look at that. Look at that. Look at that. Yeah. Yeah. Get down. Mhm. I’m the man around here. All right, we’re back again against Cell. We’re going to try a different approach. I’mma literally just like be all up on him and spam key blast and comment at point blank. Uh I don’t know how to roll cuz his special like ability, you know, that that death beam that he does, that thing hurts, bro. Especially the comment, bro. Like, how is he damaging? Like, that is nonsense. Oh, we won. We won. We won. All right. All right. All right. We got our first dub. Let’s get it. I also think it’s unrealistic to fill up your uh fighting meter to the max to get your ultimate off as it is because, dude, they reset after every win. And as you guys can see, it doesn’t build up that quick at all. Okay. I don’t know how, but he he defeated me this time around, chat. Like, he’s 50 m away, but somehow damaging me. Crazy. Did we win? I Wait, what? I won. Oh. Oh, say last. Okay, never mind. So, I don’t know who we’re fighting cuz I think the game glitched. I think we literally died, but somehow we won. Oh, we’re fighting Frieza. Okay, well, this is a little out of order. I don’t know how you go from Piccolo to Cell to Frieza, but I I will take it. And Frieza is getting manhandled by a monkey. You love to see it. Yo, Chad, what if like Frieza’s distaste for uh for Sans and Monkeys was was public, but you know, in private, he actually like he had like Goku’s like foot framed up on the wall and stuff like that, right? What if he really loved monkeys on the inside? Oh, hell no. He has a death ball. Okay, we blocked that, which is really good. We actually timed that perfectly. I think we got a perfect block off. I don’t even know if those exist in the game, but it looked like it cuz we didn’t take damage. Nah, bro. I’m telling you though, like Frieza is like dumb easy. Like I don’t know why. Like Cell was by far the toughest fight. All right, chat. Well, there you go. Yeah, we defeated uh Frieza. Nice. Okay, so we’re fighting Vegeta now. Is it going to be great at Vegeta? Does he have that as a transformation? Maybe that’s his ultimate. Or no, it’s just him. Like that really is just who he is. Crazy chat. All right. Well, this is going to be annoying. How are they going to use a regular Vegeta in the pictures but then make him grade eight Vegeta in the actual fight, bro? Oh my god, he’s cooking me. Dude, he actually is cooking me. There’s no way. There’s no way he survives this, dude. Yes. On your knees, Vegeta. Ah, I love me a submissive monkey. Bro, am I really Okay, I’ll stop. Right, I’m becoming freezing myself now. Okay, chat in this round. Oh my god. How? Yo, now that mouth blast is deadly. He cooked me like in one mouth blast. Or am I just bugged again? I think I Oh, never mind. Yeah, it’s kind of like It’s kind of buggy, bro. I’m not going to hold you. But I think I got to maintain my distance from him cuz I was basically cooking him. He hit me with one mouth blast and I died. Oh, he’s going to do it again. Oh, this is not good. Oh, well, he actually shot like upwards for some reason. Well, the good news is like I said, it seems that key box. Bro, how is Bro. Bro, chill on me, bro. Wait a minute. I think I got him. I think I got him, bro. Why is my comment not working? I think I got him. Hold on. Oh, get cooked. Get cooked. You fraud. You’re dead, fudg. You fraud. You’re dead. Oh, bro. I was about to say, dude. No way. All right. It says, “Great job. Now you can face against other fighters. Beat them in the simulation to unlock their abilities with the character selection monitor nearby. Oh, wow. Chad, look at this. It appears that we now have like different uh collectibles in the capsule core. All right, chat collected all the collectibles that spawned in. Uh we are currently at 15 out of 31. So, we’re basically about halfway done. Now, if we go in here, take a look. We have a bunch of stuff collected. We have a couple of Dragon Balls in here as well. It should be all seven of them eventually. But yeah, this is looking pretty pretty decent. Nimbus is pretty cool. Take a look. So, we’re now able to select like different characters. Like, for example, Vegeta if we wanted to. I think we could play as him. And ironically, inside of here, they had another collectible. But I find it so odd that in the overworld you use Vegeta, but maybe as you fight you use great form. Or maybe it was just that boss fight. I guess we’ll figure it out. Let’s go back in here, though. Well, this is awkward. I can’t bring up the world martial arts. Oh, there you go. Now we can. So if we go in here, we’ve unlocked a new mode now called PVE. We’ll try to do that. And they have the Tenkaiishi Budokai. They have the Cell Games arena. Let’s uh Yeah, I guess why not? Let’s start off with the Tenkai Budokai. Or we can choose the opponent. Um let’s do Trunks, I guess, right? I mean, this is this is canon, right? Vegeta, his father beating on his son. Like, how much more cannon do they want me to be, guys? Like, come on now. Why do they call this PvE? Okay, that doesn’t really make too much sense. Vegeta, Vegeta has a nice move set, actually. Okay, what the hell is that? Oh, that I think that’s my big bang attack. And then we have our ga gun. Bro, now this is nasty. Vegeta has a way better move set than Goku. That’s actually disrespectful. I thought Trunks was going Super Saiyan for a second there, but it just seems that he’s doing I don’t know if it’s a Burning Glass or what. Okay, I Damn. Low key though, it isn’t fair because I I feel like I used my big bang attack and it just did not land. I mean, it landed there. Like, yeah, now we’re landing our attacks, but yeah, Trunks just hurts. Dang it, Trunks. What the hell, bro? Is your daddy fighting, Twin? Yeah, you’re supposed to be a little submissive here. Like, no, I need to be stronger, father. I will avenge you. All right, whatever. It ain’t what it is. Oh my god, look at Vegeta’s face, bro. It’s like his little like his little Vcut thing is like tapered around like I don’t know. This is such a weird head shape. But yeah, I don’t know. That seems to be it for the DELC. I mean, obviously there’s other stuff that we can check out, but doesn’t seem like there’s much to it. I feel like there’s a lot of missed opportunities, especially with having like a PvE mode. I thought we would be out in the open and exploring and whatnot. But anyways, yeah, drop a like on the video if you guys enjoyed it.
