How Much Money Do You Need To Buy The NEW Mansions & Luxury Properties In GTA Online December DLC?

In today’s video, we’re going to be talking about how much money you’re going to need in order to buy everything. All the mansions, cars, and clothes, and the upcoming luxury properties update in Grand Theft Auto Online, as well as some secrets and some behindthescenes things you might not have noticed in the leadup missions that were released a few days ago. We’ll be diving into all that in this video today and a whole lot more. So, I want to show you this right here. This is sort of a surface level chart of how much money you would have had to spend just to try out and see every piece of content the game had to offer with the Grand Theft Auto Online updates. So, you can see in 2015 it was just over $und00 million. In 2016, it jumped almost all the way up to $200 million. The DLC’s in 2017 upwards of a quarter of a billion dollars. And again, there’s a lot of things you need to know about those time periods. there were more GTA online updates being introduced. There was traditionally more content in those updates. In 2018, that is when the Arena Wars update came out, and that had so many little things. So, that’s why that’s nearly 400 million. Uh 2019, I’m surprised it was so low, but uh you couldn’t actually purchase the casino. So, I think that brought down the price a little bit more there. 2020 was of course the COVID year where we had fewer and fewer updates. 2021 things bounced back a little bit, nearly getting to hund00 million again. A little bit of a dip in 2022, $81 million. But the last couple of update years have seemingly gotten more expensive. 2023 going upwards of $106 million for everything. And 2024, $113 million for everything. Now, I want to show you another chart right here because this will also give you a better idea of the individual updates. Again, those were just the years. So, take a look at this chart right here. You can see how some of the first couple of DLC’s were added. They didn’t really have a ton of things for you to buy like heist, illgotten gains part one and two, low riders, etc. And then some of like the random sort of springy updates like cunning stunts, special vehicle circuits. You can see those are roughly below $20 million, even some being below 10 to $15 million. But you can also see how some of the more expensive updates like Gun Running, Smugglers Run, and the Doomsday Heist, all of those were upwards of 60, 70, 80 to 90 million. And you can see how some of the updates there are traditionally around like the 4550 uh $60 million mark. And you can even see how the last couple of updates have been trending. Chop Shop update being relatively pricey, $60 to $70,000. bottom dollar bounties being a little bit less, Agents of Sabotage being a little bit less, and the Moneyfront’s really sort of dipping down only being around $30,000. So, if I were to take a guess just based on what Rockstar Games has offered and what they say is going to be in this update, I’m going to assume that the mansions DLC will probably bring us back to like the 65 to 75 million range. But that will of course depend on how much customization there is for the mansions themselves, the properties, how many vehicles are going to be included in the update. Is there going to be stuff for the end of year, December, Christmas, holiday season part of that DLC? There’s still a lot of unknowns here, but I’m going to say around 65 to $75 million. Now, the good part about that is you’re very likely not going to need everything at once. Of course, Rockstar utilizes their drip feed system where they sort of stagger the releases. So, you’ll have an opportunity uh once the update arrives to make up more money. You won’t need like the bulk of it on day one. I think you’re going to need a pretty good chunk just because mansions are a pretty big deal, but I don’t think you’re going to need all of it upfront. Now, Rockstar Games has kind of hinted that the price of this DLC is going to be pretty expensive because they’re giving us money right off the bat for completing these leadup missions. And if you’ve completed all three of them, your reward is available. It says, “Reward claimed, $1 million. Thank you for playing GTA online. Your reward for completing all three new listings missions have been deposited into your Maze Bank account. Come back on December 9th to claim your $2 million discount on any Pricks Luxury Real Estate listing and the Black Rockstar Varsity Crew Neck.” So, a couple of things there. Uh, first, you get the million that’s here. They confirm that the $2 million will be here on December 9th, essentially confirming when the update is going to be arriving. They haven’t specifically said that’s the release date, but I’m pretty sure that right there confirms it. And then, of course, once you load into the game, it says, “Congratulations, you have been awarded a million dollars for participating in GTA Online promotions.” And I also forgot that I had signed up for GTA Plus. So, being a member of GTA Plus has given me some other bonuses, too. Now, going back to how expensive the mansions could be, one thing that I’ve speculated and that I even pointed out in the very first video I did on the mansions after Rockstar Games revealed sort of the new artwork for it. It’s this right here. I said in the top right hand corner that looks like that could have been one of the wings of a helicopter and that we might actually have a helipad option to be added to our mansions, which would be very cool. We have that on our offices. We have that on some of our other properties. It’s a nice way to just go from the sky to your property very, very quickly. Well, it actually turns out that that wing that you can see on top actually comes from the Buckingham Volatus helicopter. It’s got the exact same shaped wing where like the tips sort of bend inward a little bit. And so it does look like that confirms a helipad and helicopter landing area option on top of the mansions, which is pretty cool. So, you can basically assume that’s going to be a feature that Rockstar Games will add. Now, one more reason I think this update could be pretty expensive is because Rockstar currently are giving a bonus on shark cards. They said, “Get 40% bonus money on qualifying shark cards. Sign in to the Rockstar Games account linked to your GTA online character and claim this offer by December 7th,” which is 2 days before the update is supposed to arrive. So, you get 40% bonus money on those shark cards. A lot of people are going to say, “Oh man, this artwork is in front of the Playboy Mansion. Does that mean we’re going to be able to purchase that?” This artwork has been around since 2014, so I doubt it. It’s just sort of the typical Shark Card artwork that they put out whenever they make those promotions. It would be super cool if we could purchase the Playboy Mansion. Uh, but I think I’m a little bit skeptical on that. Now, in the leadup missions, there’s also a couple of interesting things you might not have noticed. Like for example, in the very first mission with Devon Weston’s pool, it actually looks like it’s got a tarp over it. Well, Rockstar Games have just done some creative magic with the props. Those are just a bunch of fences that are sort of stacked together. So, very creative there from Rockstar, sort of lining things up. Also, in the mission where you have to push the construction materials into the water, Rockstar Games have added an invisible ramp to sort of help things get up and go into the water. Without that ramp, they’d probably get stuck on the wood and it would be one of the most frustrating missions of all time. So, they’ve added a little invisible prop to make things easier for us. And in another one of the missions, there’s actually some construction props that are on another mansion. And I’m not talking about the ones where we see in the world if you go to like free roam right now with the pricks luxury real estate sign. This is like a house that has random construction props in front of it. And Rockstar Games added these props on purpose for whatever reason. And maybe this indicates that this is going to be a property we might be able to purchase in the future. So, I wanted to go to that property right now. It’s actually located right down the road from one of the free roam construction sites. And it just looks like a normal mansion. So, I don’t know why Rockstar decided to add these random props suggesting that it might be a part of the houses we’ll be able to purchase, but for whatever reason, they did. Uh, I don’t know what this means. Hopefully, we get some more information over the next couple of days and weeks as we get closer to this update. But for now, we can speculate that this might be one of the properties we could be able to purchase, customize, and own. Now, my final bit of advice as we are coming up on the final days and weeks before this DLC, just be careful. Uh, I would not be shocked if Rockstar’s next couple of newswire announcements give away a ton of really good bonuses, discounts, and sales. probably leaning into Black Friday bonuses and discounts, which is something they do every single year. Just be careful about that. Those offers will be very enticive, but like we’ve talked about, there’s probably going to be about 65 to $75 million worth of stuff that when the next update arrives, you’re going to want to spend your money on. So, be careful. Don’t go crazy and spend everything right before the update arrives. That’s what Rockstar will probably try and tempt you to do with some Black Friday stuff. That’s just sort of a PSA as someone that’s been playing these updates for years now. It’s typically what they do. They want you to spend all your money right before the update arrives so that you’re forced to buy a shark card if you want to enjoy the other content with all your friends. But anyways, that is all the information that I have got for you guys in this video today. Hopefully, you did enjoy.
