The New CHINA DLC Just Dropped for HOI4
It is out. You know me. China Unifier Enjoyer 69 has to play new DLC as soon as possible. Look at all of these nations. I’m guessing they all have focuses. The Philippines, China, China, China, China, Ch. So many China. At some point, you don’t even know who to play, right? I’m pretty sure Japan also got a facelift. Oh, but this is a that very exciting to play. Obviously, I’m going to start as the commies. Maybe even on Iron Man mode, although I’m pretty sure it’s going to explode in my face horribly. Are you going to have cute little hats? How How quaint. They’re malicious, though. Is that the [ __ ] wall of China? Looks all broken, but I like it. It actually is here. I wonder if there’s a modifier for that. Yeah, there is actually entrenchment speed with a max entrenchment. That’s actually incredible. We’re not in a faction. Of course, it wouldn’t be a China game without like a buttload of bad modifiers, but you know, so be it. One step at a time with the first step to enter the Sufan, whatever that means. Oh, yeah. They they did rework all of this stuff. I’m very curious to know how that goes. can expand coal mines. Okay. Okay. I’m so curious to see what uh this will look like. Oh, I can as China. You can even integrate all of Asian nations. Nice. That could be very interesting to play. Lux raid border defenses. We’ll do that later. We don’t really have a proper army to speak of at the moment. Well, in a strict sense they have technically a focus tree, but it’s the same as it was before pretty much like a reskinned generic focus tree unique to the Chinese nations. That’s a shame. It’s time for another rant. Well, more like a ramble about random things in life. Last time it was about becoming a hentai artist and gaining financial independence that way. Today it’s a it’s a bit of a less fun topic. I don’t know how to I don’t know. I I just feel like I need to get it out somewhere. As some of you may know, I have cats. Three in fact. Two um senior babies and um one well not newborn. She became a teen at this point. So like 7 months in Belgium over here it’s it’s mandatory to uh spay your cats and so we took her to get spayed and she seemed to you know after the first day she seemed to get back into it. She wanted to lick the wound but other than that nothing out of the ordinary and then like a couple of days later she she threw up. She kept throwing up didn’t want to do anything. Took her to the vet and it seemed very routine. you know, we we we left her there thinking, “Oh, in a couple of days, she’ll just get some fluids. Did you know, she just needs a little bit of a pickme up? We’ll pick her up after she gets some treatment from the vet.” But all of a sudden, on that very same day, the the vet calls us and he’s like, “Yeah, I’ve got bad news. You know, she’s not going to make it.” came to us as like a massive surprise to me. Honestly, she was like ridiculously energetic in life, you know what I mean? As as like a healthy kitten should be, right? And then we went to um to pick her up at the vet. Well, not pick her up, but you know, the vet said it was it wasn’t going to go well. So, I think you can tell where the story is going, right? You know, we went to the vet just to pretty much say goodbye. By the time we got there, like we we went out the moment we we heard about it from the fed and still by the time we got there she was already, you know, she was gone and um yeah, it hasn’t fully hit yet. Cried plenty, but even today I’ll probably do again tomorrow, the day after. Tomorrow is when I’m I’m picking up I’m picking her her her ashes up. It’s going to be another rough day. I don’t know. It doesn’t feel real to me. I’m still kind of expecting her to be there in the hallway doing her um you know, sprints down my apartment as she does every night. But uh it’s pretty was pretty uh I don’t even know what to know what to say, man. It was it was horrible seeing someone who was usually ridiculously energetic and happy and and very chipper. always when she was walking she was very chipper. Just seeing her like lay there lifeless on the on the table. We had her favorite toy with her with us, you know, to to give it to her like a little spring. We would throw it to her. Well, not even to her. We would throw it away from her. She would go after it, chase it like a dog, bring it back to us as if she were a dog. Um, yeah. I don’t know where I’m going with this. I just I’m feeling a little emo, I guess. And you might be like, you know what, Taki, why are you saying this? Honestly, I don’t even know. You might be thinking, should you not be doing anything else except for like working, quote unquote, cuz technically what I’m doing is working for the YouTube channel and all that. But, ironically enough, you know, the the busier you keep yourself, the the easier it is to make it through the day in times like these. I’m glad I have something like this, like an outlet to just, you know, play games, sometimes rant about random things. Not not always good things, sadly. But yeah, thank you for being here. I guess I’m trying to say indirectly. Might not be the might not be the best moment to tell you that after being such a Debbie Downer with my story, but yeah, I I want her to be remembered. She was really a special cat and really this especially hurts knowing like she had like uh her whole life ahead of her. what hurts hurts the most. Today it was snowing and it would be it would have been very nice had she seen that at least once in her life. Look, the the new focus tree is is very similar to the one the one that was here before. The only difference is it’s a bit more fleshed out, I guess. I do like the new faction thing. Quite unsure about this, but I do definitely love the faction thing. Mostly cuz there’s a lot of customization that can be done. I think Yunan is the one that followed me, right? Yeah, we only have Yunan and Sinkyang. It’s not that much the grand in the grand scheme of things. Let’s go to KJO. Go to Fuzan. Up to 15%. More than half of what China has. There we go. We’ve almost kicked him out. Still have a lot of troops, but I don’t think they’ll be able to do anything worthwhile with that. This is almost finished. Crush them already. It’s almost done. Well, I guess there is really no scripted peace deal, which very disappointing to be honest, but I enjoyed myself so far. I’m not quite sure yet about the DLC. I do like some things, but other than other things are like, like I said, very big fan of u the faction rework. I haven’t fully comprehended it yet, but it has a lot of potential, especially for the modding community. I’m very excited to see what they cook up using this thing. As for me, you know, I’m um I’m going to go back uh think about my cat probably. But at least, you know, I still have my two elder cats, which they’ve been very cuddly. I do have to say, like, I think they can sense my own unrest or, you know, sadness. I guess it’s nice. I guess I swear to God, I I almost paid a,000 in in cat bills all in total, just the last week or so, only for, you know, for her to pass away anyway. Uh, it would have been funny if it wasn’t so sad. Well, you know, just something we’ll have to deal with, eh? Regardless, with that Debbie Downer moment, uh, I do hope you’ve enjoyed it.
