GTA Online Upcoming Christmas DLC 2025 Event Early Details! (Snow Release Date, Christmas Events)
In this video, I’ll be going over all the upcoming Christmas events because we have some early information. Since it’s almost December and a huge part of the world is getting the Christmas vibes, I think that this is the perfect time to make this video. I’ll be covering all the Christmas content this year. Drop a like if you enjoy these type of videos and subscribe for more. Now, let’s get straight into it. We will start with the snow. This is probably the one thing that most people are hyped for in GTA online every year during Christmas. Although some people hate the snow because you lose traction when you’re driving. So about the snow release date and time frame. The past few years we got a snowy Los Santos around the 20th of December. To be exact, last year in 2024, it released on December 19 and 2023 it released on December 21st. Both on a Thursday and if we look at around December 19, 2025, it should be releasing on Thursday the 18th. So mark that in your agenda because it will be a fun day and fun weeks in G online. Now it doesn’t snow for just one day. Usually lasts a week. That has been the case for the past 10 years or so. But 2 years ago they actually extended it by 1 week. So in total we had snow in G line from December 21st to January 11th. We could expect them to do the same thing this year. But as you guys might know, you never know with Rockstar. So it may only be snowing for one week. The next event is the holiday gift. Everyone will receive it when they log into GTA online on and during Christmas. Usually we get the following things from Rockstar. They first of all wish us happy holidays which is nice and all these things like some clothing items, firework launcher, snacks, armor, ammo, explosives, and molotovs. Now you also saw the candy cane that is a melee weapon and it’s pretty fun that you can kill players with it. I don’t know for certain if we are also getting it this year, but I hope it comes back for the people that haven’t got it yet because it’s one of the most unique melee weapons in GTA online. Speaking about weapons, we also had a special random event last year during the festive update called the Weasel Plaza Shootout. This event is a reference to the Christmas movie Die Hard. By doing this event, you could unlock this pistol, the WM29. It’s a pretty decent pistol, and I will show the stats in a second. This may come back this year, but it’s not confirmed yet. Each year they also add new Christmas event. So I’m excited to see what they are cooking this year. The next festive event is also new which is the Christmas truck or what they like to call it the happy holiday event. This is how to spawn it. You can do this in any session. So a public or invite only session but you do need a minimum of two players in that session. So you and one other player. The second requirement is that you have to be in that session for at least 60 minutes for it to spawn in. Now for this one I recommend going in a public session. It has a high chance of spawning in way quicker and you don’t have to wait 60 minutes. But the only downside is that there might be other players also chasing the truck. So this festive truck will draw presents. You can pick it up by driving over it. You can get ammo, snacks, and money or two new festive sweaters. The Eola festive sweater and the sprunk festive sweater. The Gu is pretty much the Grinch, but in GTA Online, and he will be mugging players. In order to spawn the good, you will need a minimum of two players in a session. And this can be in any session, but you have to spend at least 48 minutes in that session. 48 minutes in real life, and that’s 24 hours in game time. So, don’t fight new sessions to try your luck. I recommend going into an invite only session with a friend and then just wait for 48 minutes. Also, good to know that only one player in your session can get the event. So, it’s not like multiple Gucces mock multiple players. I also noticed that you have a better chance of spawning the Gucci if you, first of all, are on food. So, don’t be inside a vehicle or in the air. And the second thing is to have at least $10,000 cash. So, not on the bank, but in your pocket, so you can mug it. After you waited for a whole in-game day, you should randomly spawn in. And because we did all those things, the chances of it spawning are a lot higher. Here, it spawned in for me, and then he robbed me. So, now you will need to chase him down and take him out. He will then drop a present. Pick it up and you will get a cash bonus, some snacks. It will also unlock the Gucci outfit. Now, go to a wardrobe, then to the outfits festive, and equip this amazing outfit. So, first you will receive a text message from Tanner. You first have to be near the Chiliad Wilderness in order to receive a text message. You will then need to make your way over to the Chiliad Wilderness to investigate. It will be marked on the map with a white question mark. We have to search for clues of an unknown creature, then put an end to its terror to earn a bonus reward. So, it’s over here on the map, and this is the area where we need to search for clues. There are five clues in total, and I will show you where all the clues are. You can find the first clue over here. They are some body parts which is pretty creepy. Investigate them by pressing right on the D-pad. You will also get $10,000 and some RP for each clue. The next one is right over here. It’s a tent with blood on it, a backpack, and sleeping bag. [Music] The third one is located right over here. It’s a shirt with blood prints next to a car rack. The next clue is also a car wreck just over here. The last one is on the other side of the lake. It’s a frozen deer with some scratches on it. Once you got all five clues, it will say the following. You have located all five clues. Return at night to continue searching this area for the unknown creature. So, come back to this area at night. That’s going to be between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. in game time. As soon as you enter the white circle again, make sure that you’re on food. Have a gun ready because when the Yeti appears on your map as a red skull, you will need to take him out. It has quite a lot of health, so I recommend grabbing a mini gun or something like that. When you eliminated the Yeti, you will now have the Yeti outfit unlocked, and you will get another 50k. Now go to a wardrobe, go to outfits, then to vestive and equip the yeti outfit. So this is the sesquatch outfit, one in white, which is really sick. We will need to destroy all 25 snowmen all over the map in order to unlock this snowman outfit, and you will also get $250,000. You can destroy the snowman by throwing snowballs, running it over, or with an explosion. So apparently, you can’t destroy it by shooting it. You will now unlock the snowman outfit and you will get a cash bonus. You can now equip the outfit by going to a wardrobe, then to festive outfits. And here it is.
