This UNDERTAKER Build MELTS NEW DLC BOSSES (The Forsaken Hollows) – Elden Ring Nightreign
What is up everyone? I hope you’re having an amazing day. In this video, I’m going to show you an amazing build for the new character, Undertaker. As you know, this character has a split between a strength and faith. So, it’s a great physical damage dealer, but is also very strong when it comes to dealing fire and holy damage. I like to see this character mostly as a melee range character rather than a spellcaster. Before going further into the relics, I want to explain how the skill of this character works, at least from my experience. The description is a bit confusing, but what it basically does is that it increases your speed and it increases your poise and your physical damage negation. So, for a little bit of time, it makes you very, very tanky and it also provides a dash dodge which has a better range is more effective when it’s compared to a normal roll. But the real deal of this is how you use it. If you want to go crazy against an enemy, you just have to pop your skill and start attacking like a maniac. You will be able to change the full combo of the hammer twice. And that is really insane because remember this character has a relic effect that increases your attack power after landing the final hit of your attack chain. Normally with other characters and with many weapon classes is very difficult to land this final hit because you will receive a hit before or you will have to dodge in order to not receive a lot of damage. But I like to see this ability as an agile version of endure. So you pop it and you won’t be staggered unless it’s a very very strong attack. But if it’s a regular enemy or even a night boss, you won’t be staggered. So, that means you’re going to be able to tank attacks while attacking. And if you take the time to roll some relics, you will be able to find some stuff like this. Now, I’m going to explain what I am using and why it works so well. First, let’s take a look to the Undertaker exclusive effects. The first one is the activating ultimate dart increases attack power. This one will increase our attack power after we execute the ultimate ability, and I think it’s one of the most important ones you need to have because the passive ability of this character will let you use your ultimate under certain conditions. If you’re playing with teammates and one of your teammates uses the ultimate of his character, you are going to be able to pop one ulti of your character as well if you are the undertaker and this won’t affect the gauge progress you already have for your normal ultimate. This is just like an additional ultimate ability you have as a passive effect. If you play solo, it will be available after you roll an attack. For instance, if an enemy performs a grab attack and you dodge that attack, you are going to be able to use the ultimate in that moment. I cannot tell you right now if it only happens when you have your ability activated or if it happens with every special attack performed by an enemy. Both this passive ability is great in solos and trios. So having this effect on your relics is going to be very important cuz each time you use your ultimate, you’re going to increase your attack power. So basically, you’re going to deal more damage. The second effect I have here is one effect I didn’t know it was possible to get in the normal relics. I thought this effect was exclusive of the deep of night relics, but apparently with this update, you can get it in the normal relics as well. Actually, I don’t think this effect is that useful cuz you really want to find hammers. This strategy works better with weapons that can hit fast. The colossal weapons have a very slow move set, and I really feel like the move set of this character works very well with this build. What I’m trying to say is that this effect is not necessary. The other effect that I consider very important and necessary is the partial HP restoration upon post damage attacks. And this effect is really important because I already explained you that when you use the skill of this character, you become really tanky. For a very brief amount of time, you’re going to be extremely powerful. You’re going to take significantly less damage. You’re going to have an insane amount of poise that only a few enemy attacks will be able to stagger you. So, what you really want to do once you use your character skill is going wild against the target. It doesn’t matter which target it is, you want to go as crazy as possible. As you can see, just pairing the skill of this character with a partial HP restoration upon post damage attacks. But it’s even better if we use a relic with the taking attacks improves attack power. In this second relic, I also have another effect for this character. This one increases your physical attacks while you use an incantation for your character like golden vow like a buff for your weapon like any type of buff for your character that is an incantation. Can work with flame grania strength with hal of shabir if you find it. But I really don’t like this effect. I really would like to have something better in this relic to pay it with the taking attacks improves attack power. And the reason why I don’t like this effect that much is because you rely on having an incantation available. If you have golden vow in an ash of war, that is not the same. It has to be an incantation. So, you have to wield a seal. And I am not really a big fan of wielding seals in my left hand weapon. But the only reason why I’m using this relic is because of the taking attacks improves attack power and because it’s the only red relic I have with this effect. As you know, we have two blue relics with this guaranteed effect, and that is the night of the demon and the burst mitch frame. The taking attacks improves attack power, increases your attack power by 20% for 20 seconds after you receive a hit. I don’t remember if it’s 15% or 20%, but it’s a decent amount of damage after taking damage. And as in this game, you are always going to take a little bit of damage unless you are professional. This effect is really useful, especially because once you use the skill, you are not going to be dodging everything unless it’s a very very difficult attack or a very strong attack. But most of the time, you want to tank all those attacks and go crazy. And after taking that hit, your damage is going to be significantly higher thanks to this effect. So, as you can see, we are healing, increasing our attack power, and going wild. That’s why I’m really liking this character so far. And in the third relic, I have something very special as well. The first effect is an Undertaker effect called attack power increased by landing the final blow of a chain attack. This is basically the final hit of your This basically means that each time you land the final hit of your light attack combo, your attack power is going to be increased. As I previously told you, this is very difficult to do with other characters, regardless of the weapon type you’re using. It’s even difficult with katanas. But thanks to the ability of this character, we are going to be able to perform it quite easily. And if we land that final hit, our attack power is going to get increased. This way, the next attacks we deal are going to be significantly stronger because they are going to have this effect and the effect of the taking attacks improves attack power. So, it’s really going to get insane. And even cooler in this relic, we also have improved hammer attack power. This one increases the damage of the hammer class. It isn’t such a big deal because we are going to be using primario or hammer. But for instance, if we decide to change the weapon to a great sword or something that is good for this character as well, then this effect won’t be useful. That’s why I believe that having physical as a plus two would have been better. But as I personally am going to be using the hammer, I think this is great. We are going to be taking this rope into an entire expedition of the new DLC against one of the new night lords in the new shifting earth event, the great hollow. With that being said, let’s jump straight into the run. Here we go. Yeah, at least I have the cave close. Come on. I really like to spawn here because these enemies are pretty easy. They are free. Nice. The Lord of Bloods Exaltation. Okay. I don’t like to defeat the jellyfish, but it’s necessary sometimes to reach level three at least. There we go. Nice. We have a couple of more dudes here. Okay. Where are you going, homie? Okay. Little tree. That’s awesome. Now we can go straight to the cave. That’s cool. Here we go. Now, this cave is pretty easy. What’s that? Nice. I I am still thinking. And I’m not sure if it’s better to just go back to the upper part or keep or stay here in in the lower part. Nice. Oh, this time we don’t have that merchant there. That complicates uh complicates the things a little bit. I need to look for a for a merchant and a grace. mostly for a merchant cuz I need to upgrade this thing. Oh, there there is a spirit spring there. So, let’s let’s take it. Yeah, we really need to upgrade the weapon. Okay. Oh, there is that guy from the DLC, man. But we got the curse. I actually have no intentions of going there, bro. I just wanted to upgrade my weapon. Now, where do we go? That’s the question. We have to fight some bosses. Okay. I I still not remember properly where are the bosses located, you know. Like I have a small clue, but not uh really clearly. We should We should have a boss here technically. Oh yeah, here it is. I kind of knew it. What? I can’t believe how does that make sense, bro. Bro, I really nice increased maximum HP. That’s a great passive effect, I guess. Let’s go. Let’s get this church and we look for another boss fight. Okay, here we should be able to find that boss. Uh, let’s go for the one above. It is a difficult one, but the reward should be better. I just hope I will have enough time. I think I will. And my weapon is upgraded, so it’s really fine. Nice. And is this guy. So yeah. Yeah, it makes sense. I didn’t know I have the success damage. I’m not a big fan of fighting the dead red bird, but I have a strike damage right now, so it will be a sin to not do it. Wow. Guys committed to attack me. Oh, bro. Sure. Heat. I cannot get this great kill though. Nice damage negation upon landing charge attacks. That’s very cool. The the soundtrack of this DLC sounds like uh a little bit like the this guy the sentient pest soundtrack. It’s it sounds good, man. Okay, we have a boss fight here as well. Okay, I I was about to jump, man. Thank god I didn’t. If I jump properly here, I should be able to do it. Yep. Nice. Let’s see how good it it goes with this one. And is there this this ever jail key is not mine, dude. There is no ever jails in the shifting art event, bro. Buy this and maybe this. And I don’t know, bro. Two of these, I guess. Oh, no.
