How Much Money YOU Will Need for the Luxury Mansions DLC in GTA Online! (Updated)
Yo, what is up guys? My name’s Hackey and how much money are you going to need for this massive mansions update that’s coming very soon to GTA Online? We made an early prediction video that you guys absolutely loved. So, here’s a final prediction because now we know a lot more about this update. We can make a way better educated guess and much more of an accurate prediction with so much information. Some GTA Online creators have gotten this email from Rockstar Games basically telling them, “We appreciate you making videos on our game. Here’s a free $20 million ahead of this massive DLC. And it’s interesting that they picked $20 million specifically. And I feel like that’s a pretty good indicator of how much we should be expecting these mansions and maybe some vehicles to be costing. I’m not going to get ahead of myself and say the entire 20 million is going to be spent on one mansion, but I do think the mansions are probably going to be a minimum of 15 million. And since we now know for sure that we’re going to be getting, at least on release of the update, three different mansions to buy, that means we’re going to be spending around $45 million. Let’s say some of them are a little bit more than 15 million. So, we’ll slap on a price tag of $55 million to buy every single mansion. And so, we’re going to calculate how much we’re going to need to spend to buy everything and how much the average player is going to need to spend to have some fun with this update. Maybe one mansion and a few vehicles. $55 million total for all of the mansions in this update. And we also have a handful of vehicles that we know are going to be coming with this update. One of them being the FMJ Mark 5. This is a really cool futuristic looking supercar. This is definitely not going to be any less than like $2.5 $3 million just to buy the stock version of this thing. And then we also have another sportser super car right here. Probably another 3 million, maybe even more if we want to fully upgrade it. In this scene in the garage, we have so many vehicles in the background, and I want to say at least most of them are brand new vehicles. So, this blue one looks like some sort of like a retro BMW. This one’s got the Grati logo on the side, so it’s probably going to be like a Ferrari sports classic. Let’s say each of these vehicles on average is going to be 2.5 million to get fully upgraded. This is the one that we saw in green a second ago. And then we have a handful more vehicles here, which I want to say at least some of them are new. So, in this picture alone, we have about six or seven new vehicles, which are easily going to be a few million dollars each. I mean, there’s no doubt these are going to be freaking expensive. I mean, they are new vehicles, and if they’re cool looking vehicles in a new update, Rockstar is going to have to slap on a pretty expensive price tag, especially for the FMJ Mark 5. This thing is a beauty. On top of that, in the same news wire, they actually mentioned in one of the paragraphs, of course, we’re going to have new police vehicles. We did predict that in the last prediction video. And of course, we were right. We’re going to get more police vehicles that are easily going to be like $4 or $5 million each. Let’s just say we’re going to get three new police vehicles. Could be more. That’s 15 million plus, let’s say, the six or seven vehicles we got in this scene of the trailer. So, that’s going to get us up to 17.5 million for these seven vehicles. So, assuming the average price for these new vehicles in this shot is going to be 2.5 million, more or less. So, all the vehicles in this scene plus the police vehicles being about $3 and $5 million each, that’s going to get us up to $32.5 million to buy every single vehicle with this update, assuming we’re going to get a total of about 10, not including the drip feed vehicles, of course. Now, these two categories being the actual mansions and the vehicles are the two most expensive of this update. And that already gets us up to $87.5 million to buy all the mansions and all the vehicles alone. But of course, there’s more to these mansions and more to this update in general. In the new part of the Rockstar Games website, we get a ton of features with these new mansions, both on the outside, but mainly customization on the interior of this place. And there is a lot to customize. We’re going to have master and guest bedrooms, lounge area, cigar room, office room, media room, which is basically like a cinema, private salon, a whole underground vault, which is awesome, and a trophy room that is absolutely amazing. Those are the actual rooms we’re going to have that we’re going to be able to customize probably separately on top of these specific customization options we’re going to get for each room, like the trophy room, the vault, whatever it might be. And so I’m super excited that we’re actually getting what looks to be a lot of customization, but best believe this customization is going to be the most expensive customization there is. If you compare to the high-end departments that we can actually select the styles of, those cost a couple hundred,000 on average. So I can only imagine changing between each of these styles is probably going to be closer to a million each. So, expect probably about $1.5 to maybe even $2 million for the customization of each of the mansions. Of course, on top of the base price you have to pay for to buy one of these properties in the first place. So, $2 million for each customization of each mansion. That gets us up to an extra 6 million for each of the three mansions that we get. So, 87 12 + 6 that gets us up to a whopping $93.5 million spent so far. You know what? We’re actually going to bump up the customization cost just because we’re going to have some insane upgrades like a whole podium vehicle section in your own house. Something that we usually see inside the casino is literally going to be inside of our house. That’s going to be very expensive. Probably like half a million, maybe even a million dollars to put it in there. In armory, we actually see inside of the agency. And I searched up how much the armory upgrade costs inside of the agency when you buy one, and it costs 720,000. So, I do have reason to believe it’s probably going to be around $750K. That’s $1.75 million. A whole arcade room probably going to be an extra half a million, maybe even more if you want to add more and more gaming machines. And the vehicle workshop, that’s easily going to be at least a million dollar. We’ll slap on $3 million in total customization, including the vehicle workshop, arcade, armory, podium, and all of the other aesthetic interior customization. So, that gets us up to a total of $96.5 million, including all the mansions, all the mansion upgrades, and all the vehicles. Another thing that a lot of people, I feel like, underestimate with updates, is clothing. And I feel like a lot of outfits these days are actually a few hundred,000 each. And I do think we’re going to get some really luxurious looking outfits with this luxurious update. If you go into the clothing store now into the outfit section, you could definitely see some of the sections have some very expensive clothing. I mean, each outfit could easily be like $200,000. And I do think we’re going to get a lot of different clothing and accessories with this update. So, for all of the clothing and accessories, if you want to buy absolutely everything, I do think it’s going to be another $3 million to the budget, which in total gets us up to $99.5 million. I guess you can say basically $100 million to buy absolutely everything in this DLC. But obviously, not everyone’s going to buy everything. So, the average player is probably going to want only one of the three super expensive mansions. I don’t think most people need more than one. Technically, we don’t even know if you can own more than just one of these mansions. We’ll see, I guess. And the average cost for one mansion, including all the customization and upgrades, is probably going to be about $19 million, assuming these mansions are going to be once again between 15 and 20 million bucks. That’s my guess. And out of the roughly 10 vehicles that are going to be releasing on release day of this update, an average player is probably going to want to buy about three of those vehicles. Let’s say one police vehicle being 5 million plus on average 2.5 million for other regular vehicles. 5 million for one law enforcement vehicle plus $5 million for another two is going to get us up to $10 million just for vehicles. So in total, the average player is going to be spending for vehicles and the mansion $29 million. But let’s say he wants some clothing with this update. Maybe buy like a few outfits. I guess we can add a couple hundred,000, no more than that. $30 million. So, let’s say 29,500,000 bucks is going to be the average cost to have some fun with this update, to own one of these super cool properties, to own some of the new vehicles, to get some clothing. That is the average cost for what the average player is going to want. And that is my calculation. Let me know your calculation down below in the comment section.
