My PAINFUL first DLC shiny #pokemonlegendsza
With the new Pokémon Legends EA DLC finally out, I had one goal, get a shiny Pokémon. But it has to be one of the new DLC shinies. I thought this would be easy since I have the shiny charm, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. When I booted up the game, I found a shiny Fletchling on literally the first mission. Then I found a shiny Petrat while doing some of the new side quests. Once I finally started exploring inside the new hyperspace areas, I could only find shinies outside while walking between the portals. I found a shiny Pidgey, another shiny Fletchling, and a shiny Tubbish, all within literally minutes of each other. Okay, maybe the problem is that I don’t have a proper strategy inside these hyperspace areas, but the game did just come out. I’m trying to figure things out on my own here, so cut me some slack. But I did realize you can fast travel to the starting portal inside hyperspace to reset every Pokémon in the area. It’s perfect for shiny hunting, but that didn’t work for me either. While hunting the new Mr. Mime, I ended up finding two shiny Spritzy using this method. Then later I tried a spot for the new Scoville and Scoville, but instead I found a shiny Goat. It wasn’t until I started hunting Mimikyu. Eight shinies later that I finally got something I wanted. Yes. Oh, that took so long. Wow. It’s a good one, too. I love MQ.

The normal shorts will continue, I just felt inspired to tell a quick story while playing the new DLC. Working on some long videos and shorts now, so subscribe to see those when they come out 🙂
