GTA ONLINE NEW CHRISTMAS DIE HARD EVENT, Free Gifts, XMAS Weapons, CAR, Money (GTA5 DLC Update 2025)
Yo, what is going on guys? Welcome back to another GTA 5 video. So, as I’m sure all of you guys are aware, last week Rockstar Games released a brand new winter DLC known as a safe house in the hills. And I’ve already made videos covering all of the content included in full detail, as well as all of the upcoming drip feed content. So, if you do want a full rundown on everything included with last week’s DLC, I’ll leave a link to a playlist down below in the comment section. However, I have been seeing tons of comments from you guys asking me, do I know what Rockstar Games have planned for this year’s 2025 Christmas update, and it looks like Rockstar Games are going to be rolling out a bunch of events and changes to the game, which I am going to be fully breaking down in this video. Okay, so before we get into the brand new leaks on what we can expect to see Rockstar Games added in, Rockstar Games of course will be reintroducing the Weasel Plaza shootout. As you guys can see on screen, this is the event that is clearly mimicking Die Hard the movie. Even the poster Rockstar Games officially released for it is a clear spin-off of Die Hard itself. And there is literally countless events and Easter eggs in GTA 5 and all GTA games that took an inspiration from many, many famous movies in the past. Of course, I only made a video recently talking about the Gu outfit that Rockstar Games will be introducing this Thursday, which is a character clearly based off the Grinch in real life, which of course is a movie and a book. However, that’s just one example of when Rockstar Games have taken cinematic inspiration from a movie. Now, a lot of players missed out on this event, and it’s very, very easy to miss out on if you don’t know much about it or how to trigger it. So, the first thing worth mentioning is that this brand new Christmas Die Hard event is completely random, and the only way to trigger it is by making your way towards the Weasel Plaza building. You also don’t want to be more than 400 m away from the plaza building between the time of 8:00 p.m. and 6 a.m. Now, you won’t have to call anyone or do anything specific to trigger this event. It will automatically spawn in after being in that session for 20 minutes. And once the event triggers, it’s basically going to play out a scene which represents a bunch of different sequences from Die Hard. So, you’ll have to go ahead and grab an oppressor or a helicopter and make your way to the rooftop, which for you guys that have seen the movie is a reference of the Nakatomi Plaza building in the film. And when you guys make your way to the rooftop, you’ll notice there’s a big shootout between a bunch of criminals and a police officer. So, it’s completely up to you how you want to go ahead and approach this event. You can watch these guys shoot each other, but eventually you guys will have to kill everyone on here because no matter whether it’s the criminals or the cops, eventually they will turn around and start shooting you. However, you will notice once you guys kill this NPC who looks a lot like Hans Grubber. He will drop the WM29 pistol, which of course is an exclusive Christmas unlock. And if you guys are completing this event for the first time, you will also receive $25,000. However, last year for autocomp completing this event, Rockstar Games did unlock a Christmas livery for the pistol MK2 known as the season greetings tint. And we do know thanks to leaks that Rockstar Games do have some more festive gun tints that they do plan on releasing into the game in the next few days. However, like I said, a lot of people for decades debated whether Die Hard was a Christmas movie. And I think with Rockstar Games adding a Die Hard Special event in for Christmas. They’re almost sharing their opinion where they do also think is a Christmas movie. And leave a comment down below. Let me know, have any of you guys seen the movie Die Hard? Now, like I mentioned, thanks to data miners, we do know about some more festive gun tints that Rockstar Games will be dropping into the game very, very soon. Of course, we’re going to be receiving this white and red snowball tint known as the snowball launcher. As you guys can see on screen, the snowball launcher is pretty much as it says on the tin. You’re going to be able to shoot snowballs from this gun. Going to have three snowballs before you have to reload it. However, if you do want more information on the snowball launcher and any other leaks, I’ll leave a link to the full Christmas playlist down below in the comment section. However, we’re also going to be receiving this blue skull candy cane livery as you guys can see on screen with a bunch of snowflakes all over it. A pretty sick looking camo, I’m not going to lie. And of course, like I mentioned earlier, we are also going to be receiving the snowman challenge where we have to go ahead and destroy 25 snowmen. If you guys aren’t aware, last year we unlocked the snowman outfit for completing that challenge. And it looks like we’re also going to be getting a snowman gun livery as you guys can see on screen. Just a bunch of different snowman emoji faces. Some happy, some shocked, some angry. However, that isn’t all. We’re also going to be receiving this festive livery that you guys can see on screen, which comes with this crazy looking green Grinch elf looking character. Of course, the brand new Gu event, which is based off the Grinch, will be unlocking the Gucc outfit. However, I have seen a lot of people still unaware. We’re also going to be receiving a Christmas themed adversary mode where Santa Claus is got to make his way to one point where elves have got to protect him from a Krampus monster. So, maybe this gun tin is to represent the elves in that adversary mode. However, a pretty cool looking Christmas festive livery. And leave a comment down below. Of course, we also know about the Happy Holidays Hauler, which is going to be driving around the map and releasing free gifts to players, which is based off the Coca-Cola Christmas truck in real life.
