Details You Missed In The Silksong DLC Trailer!

The Silkon DLC named Sea of Sorrow has been announced, so let's obsessively go through the trailer looking for any details hidden within. [music] Up first, we have a shot of an object covered by a tarp. This is almost certainly an altar to get a new crest. In the base game, Hornet gets almost all of her crest by binding with a deceased bug in a chapel. These bugs are almost always covered by some material, and there are candles around. And what do you know, in the trailer, there are candles as well. So, the big question is, what kind of bug is under here? And what will their new crest be? I think there are two main possibilities with the first being some sort of sailor or pirate crest. This guess just comes from the nautical theme of the expansion, and honestly, I hope it's this one. In my eyes, the other option is some sort of alchemist crest. It's heavily implied that part of the DLC won't be about plasmium, and I think the body under this tarp could be the Alchemist Master. If you squint, you could imagine that these little blobs could be the same thing as the Alchemist hair. I personally hope that's the Nautilus crest because I'm looking forward to the water theme, and I don't want the DLC to be completely dominated by plasmium. And we're definitely getting plasmium because of this shot in the trailer. This structure is known as the lab, and you can see its development history thanks to old maps provided by Team Cherry. There are a few interesting things in this shot, but I'm most curious about the wings. They sure look plasmium related to me, and I've convinced myself that the final boss of this DLC will be a plasmium higher being, and so this is probably that creature. I did a little bit of research, and [music] the wings look like they could come from a bug known as a lace wing, which is obviously thematically relevant. I think there are good odds that we will see this creature as a boss. Finally, the lightning is really interesting because we've seen lightning in one other place in the Hollow Knight universe. The old gods of the Godseekers were known as the gods of thunder and rain, and we could see some lightning in the brief glimpse we got of them. Personally, I think the lightning around the lab is unrelated and they're just going for a mad scientist vibe. But speaking of Godome, people are also thinking that the symbol at the center of the lab is fairly reminiscent of the Pantheon symbol. I'm also a bit skeptical of that, but I suppose you never know. I'd love to hear your thoughts and subscribe for
