GTA Online NEW Christmas DLC Release Time & NEW Update Info (Festive Surprise 2025)
The GTA online festive surprise DLC, aka the Christmas update, is finally dropping tomorrow. And in this video, we will quickly go over small bits of new info like the exact release time, snow mentions, and more. The festive surprise update is releasing on Thursday, December 18, and so is the snow. It will have a global release time, meaning that it will be released for everyone at the exact same time. Here’s a helpful map that I made with the update release time for each time zone in the world. So, let’s say if you live in New York, which is Eastern Standard Time, it will release at 5:00 a.m. for you. And in Europe, for example, it will release at 11:00 a.m. It may be 5 to 10 minutes earlier or later, but it will release together with the weekly update tomorrow. Now, if you missed it, some great news for PlayStation players that play GTA Online. From now till December 24, you don’t need PS+ to play GTA Online. So, you can play GTA Online for free. And that way you can experience Christmas in GTA 5 as well as mansions, which is the next topic. I was wondering how the three mansions look like when they are covered in snow. You have already been looking at mansions in snow gameplay for the past few minutes. So this is what they look like. They look beautiful. None of the water is frozen, which would be a cool feature, but everything else is covered in snow. At night, they will look even better cuz all the lights will be on around the pool, the interior, driveway, and even more places. Now, as you may know, there’s always Christmas decoration inside our apartments and other owned properties. And this year, it will also be in our mansions. There will be a couple Christmas trees with presents and Christmas lights inside the mansion. There probably won’t be any Christmas decoration outside the mansion, but that would be awesome. Now, the Christmas weapons, actually, one Christmas weapon, which is the snowball launcher, and the other weapons are existing weapons with a Christmas livery, but it’s still really cool. So, for this pistol, the surface carbon rifle, and the heavy sniper, when the update is out, I will explain how to unlock them. Upon logging in, we will also receive a Christmas gift again this year. GTA Plus members can already get the Santaas Call sweater and track pants. This is what they look like. I really hope we get some new Christmas outfits this year, as well as new Christmas events. On December 18, the Gucci, and Snowman event, as well as those outfits will release. I will show you exactly how to get them when they are out. So hopefully you enjoyed this video.
