Grand Theft Auto Tokyo, Rio, Moscow, Istanbul – Rockstar apparently had ideas for them all

    1. imho Tokyo would have been the only interesting one of the bunch. Personally I even think Miami is sorta boring, but at least it has that crazy Florida culture to ride on, so its fine.

Some cool cities I would personally love for a GTA game:

      – San Francisco (also the whole bay area, so Oakland, Sausalito, some northern rich areas etc)

      – Amsterdam (perfect for a crime based game, cool buildings, cool little streets for a more walkable or motorcycle based experience, international hub city so a cool possibility for gangs from all over Europe)

      – Sydney (just the amount of cunts alone would be worth it. A nice mix of urban, coastal and nature areas)

Edit: ppl downvoting my opinion. cmon ppl, I will not downvote yours even if mine are different. Thats not the point for votes. I would rather hear what cities you all would like to have featured!

    2. And has done nothing with those ideas at all…

Instead has milked the mummified teat of GTAV

    3. You will be able to play these in limited time fo-modes that are only available on GTA Online

    4. I would love a London/ Paris/ Barcelona equivalent, but Dan Hauser (who I know is no longer with R*) said GTA is “uniquely American” so I doubt anything like that will come to fruition, especially given the looooooooong development times we’re now seeing.

      >Grand Theft Auto Tokyo

      >Basically just Yakuza with cars

It’s too peak, they knew we couldn’t handle it.

If only they were willing to take risks and actually did this. I’d take 5 semi-competent games in this style over 1 game every 10 years that’s set in some US state again.

Tokyo, Rio, and Moscow: the Money Heist edition!

All you need is Berlin and The Professor!
