While every first-played Fromsoft game tends to be special, I’ve always felt Bloodborne struck the perfect balance between cryptic yet understandable world building other From games don’t always measure up to. It just feels the most cohesive to me and while I love all of their games, it just seems its core themes resonated with me the most.
Yeah I think it’s basically the peak of the Soulsborne formula, just not the peak of the games.
It’s really a shame that Fromsoft doesnt own the rights to Bloodborne
