    Computer desk set up: 98″ (249 cm) PINNARP with 2x ALEX drawers without center leg: Will it bend over time? should I add legs or another drawer?



    I'm thinking about setting up my room with new desk set up.. currently using Lisabo table (78") as desk and it's too deep.

    I am planning to make a trip to ikea to return this table and get a PINNARP with ALEX drawers. I do want to use the desk in the middle, will the top bend over time? is there a method to prevent that?

      I had the 96” Karlby for years across 2 Alex drawers without a bend. I think adding a $5 leg in the back middle is cheap insurance for it though. I had my monitors wall mounted so that definitely helped.
