Not my setup above but it shows my concerns.
I am looking at upgrading my setup also with Alex Drawers and a Karlby Countertop 186cm. But I see tons of photos/posts where the Karlby is only supported by 2 drawers each with a maximum capacity of 13KG on top. When you pair that with a Karlby at 29KG, monitor, Gaming PC, peripherals etc. You already at double the maximum capacity.
Am I just overthinking this? And if it’s sturdy it’s fine?

Short answer: You’re overthinking it and it’s fine.
Longer answer: I’m surprised to see 13KG as the weight limit, but I’m assuming that is a careful calculation on IKEA’s end and not factoring in that the weight distribution from a countertop will be across the full surface area of the top of the Alex drawers; not focused in one spot.
A personal testimony: i’ve casually sat on these drawers plenty of times (I weigh approx 80KG) and they haven’t even budged slightly. Additionally, I have used them with an actual hardwood countertop from Lowes (much heavier than the Karlby) for almost 8 years now with zero issues.
