Sooo finally I ended up beating this game, haven't touched it much since my childhood otherwise.
I went for 100% and tbh I think that made it worse for me. It's a solid 7/10 like this but I think normally it would be 8/10.
What really ruins the whole game as I play it is the fact your life is tied to 100% completion. I find that just beyond baffling when the game is floaty as is and a bit wonky with hit detection.
I feel the red coins and sun collecting is fun enough on its own and binding the life in that as well was a massive mistake.
Still loved pretty much everything outside of that!
