I'm wanting to transfer my data from my orignal micro sd card to my new sd card, but whenever I try and transfer the data from my old 4gb sd card to the new 128gb sd card, I get this error and it doesn't allow me to transfer this 1 file over.
The 3ds works fine from what I know of with the original sd card. Would it be fine to move over all the old files except for that?
It works with all the files moved over onto the new sd card, just worried the missing file may brick the console or something if i decide to modify it.
Is this file necessary? It's just in the 'System Volume Information' file

Just skip it. As far as I know this is just a file generated by windows automatically. And no, your SD Card contents cannot brick your 3DS. Else it wouldn’t work wthout an SD Card.
the old SD card is beginning to corrupt files. skip it
