So can someone help me out I've recently purchased a 360 with the pre kinetic nxe dashboard (yet to arrive) and I'm aware i can't play games post 2010/11 does that mean everything with grey banner will play and the games with the banner will ? From the minimal research I've done some games post 2011 might work but could force an update to kinetic nxe , I have other .

Apologies if the grammar is a bit crap, didn’t read before I posted
Back in the 360 days, games that required some minimum version of the dash would ship with the dash update on the disk itself. If you’re intending to keep your 360 on NXE, then maybe don’t try playing the Kinect game (you should be given the option not to update).
That said, Splinter Cell Blacklist doesn’t *require* a Kinect, so maybe it will work with a pre-Kinect dash. It absolutely will work without a Kinect at all, because it’s a “better with” not “requires” games.
Games that came out before the Kinect dash will work.
