Recently picked this up from my local game store and I’m so excited about it! When I was a kid, one of my rich friends at the time had this edition of the 3DS XL (and she had, like… every new console that came out almost immediately, including all of the special editions she wanted) and I always thought it was the coolest thing ever.
The aforementioned game store owners know I’m always on the lookout for special Pokemon versions of things, so when they got this in, they immediately set it aside for me. ❤️ Traded in my og 3DS and some Pokemon cards for a little over $100 store credit towards it, so it didn’t wreck my wallet lmao!
Just waiting for an SD card reader that’s compatible with my computer to get delivered to me so I can mod it! Very excited to customize the hell out of this thing!!! I also put a protective clear case over it (not pictured, I took this right after I picked up the 3DS) and have a cute little handmade charm on the way to me as well :3
