Take some isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush and see what happens. As long as nothing is physically corroded, you should be okay.

Impossible? I won’t say yes. Practical? Eh. I guess I would try with a soft brush and using like 91% or higher (i have 99% isopropyl alcohol for my electronics) and just gently rubbing it all off. I mean if everything else on it is in good enough shape its worth a shot right?
Right now you have a non functioning controller. So what’s the worst that can happen, you end up with a non functioning controller? You’re already there! What’s there to lose i say?

the battery contacts are all physically corroded and i can see traces of the acid inside the port, should i get the motherboard changed? the positive terminal also broke physically.
