I loved the first movie they did, I really hope with the success they had, they might end up with a Luigi’s Mansion movie, I’m not gonna say it’d be a box office killer, but hell if I wouldn’t see it day one. Can’t wait to see what Nintendo does with the rest of their movies/shows.

What’s the point of branding this as a Galaxy movie if they are going to have a bunch of Odyssey references? It feels like this could have just been an Odyssey themed movie with the Mario Bros and Rosalina in it, and it wouldn’t make much of a difference.
The first movie was just a bunch of set pieces and Mario references, without much of an overarching plot, character arcs, or anything a movie is expected to have. I get the impression that this movie is going to have the exact same problem again. Even if the reaction to the trailer is “wow, there’s Birdo. Wow, there’s Mouser”.
