(Repost) What games could we expect so see in a Potential February 2026 direct if it happens? (Try to be serious this time)

I think a new main series 3D Mario game is possible since we just got a big 3D Mario-Franchise game in Donkey Kong Bananaza and we haven’t had a new Main Series 3D Mario since (depending on what you count) Odyssey or Bowser’s Fury, possibly either something entirely new or a Galaxy 3 since Nintendo’s been marketing the Galaxy brand a lot lately (with the ports of Galaxy 1&2 and Rosalina & Luma being added to the Mario Wonder expansion) to tie in with the new movie and Galaxy 3’s been requested since Galaxy 2 so it’s possible Nintendo will do this as a Movie Tie-In or will have a Galaxy themed side story in whatever the next 3D Mario is if it comes out this year

speaking of Mario, a new Mario & Luigi or Paper Mario, since Mario & Luigi Partners in Time was released 2 years after SuperStar Saga and Paper Jam was released 2 years after Dream Team, so a new game in the Brothership Engine is possible this soon, and we got a Paper Mario remake recently so maybe a new game is coming

also speaking of Mario again and of remakes, a Luigi’s Mansion 4 is possible and has been in speculation for a while, especially after the Dark Moon remake got announced, and of course there is the stuff that’s already confirmed for this year as well as the possibility of Mario Kart World DLC or a New Mario series entirely, I don’t see any more Mario Galaxy movie news after today’s Galaxy movie direct and I think we’ll have to wait for the movie to come out for any new info

In terms of non-Mario, Pokémon Wind & Waves is always a possibility but I feel like Nintendo, GameFreak, and the Pokémon company will wait until a Pokémon exclusive presentation to show that off, I don’t see a new Kirby or Smash this soon, Sakurai needs a break from Smash even if we can be certain Smash 6 won’t be Ultimate sized (because that would just waste time and be unhealthy to do again for the game devs) and Sakurai just completed Air Riders, and Kirby just had a game in Air Riders and an expansion to Forgotten Land so Hal (even if they didn’t make Air Riders) might be waiting before the next Kirby

Pikmin 5 is a possibility and I hope we can see it soon but it might not be next month

Something Zelda related might happen but I’m not sure (pls be something in the older 3D style if it’s 3D & not a ToK sequel, I really don’t like open world Zelda and am tired off it), maybe news on the Zelda movie or a remake/remaster of a previous Zelda game?
