I think it’s cool that nintendo makes these retro games available, but I’m not interested in this and I can’t imagine there’s many people who will pay $100 for the accessory. seems like a lot of money for the games you can utilize with it

Can I play this in VR mode?

Two unreleased games that were only ever seen at trade shows!

Just to confirm this is only on the switch 2?

My wallet really doesn’t want to do it, but I guess I’ll eventually cave in

I know it’s probably a waste of money, but I really want that Virtual Boy replica. I think it looks so cool!

Just wanna say, there’s an amazing video that shows how the original Virtual Boy display actually works, and you should all watch it: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jW7M8H99x7Y](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jW7M8H99x7Y)

This is cool but man I REEEEAALLY hope that they are just bluffing about this being headset and red tinted exclusive because I would probably never play these otherwise and I just wanna play the last Wario Land game. (apparently they said some other NSO games are only compatible with their original controller but that wasn’t actually true)
There is zero reason to not have these available as non-VR games.

Wait a minute, so this came out after the SNES, right? Then why the hell does it have an 8-bit sound chip?
I think they should have put out full color 2D versions of these titles in addition to the original red wire ones. I doubt it could take that long to convert them.

Cool!
Still not paying a ridiculous premium for a stupid peripheral so I can hold my heavy-ass handheld against my face like a fool because its the only way to experience these very neat pieces of video game history.
Like just let me play them on the damn television, I don’t care if its harder to visualize.

I dunno how much anyone cares, but just fyi, [the Japanese version of the trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDHRaE924HQ) also shows Virtual Fishing as coming 2026.
