So I bought cult of the lamb a while back and haven't played it in a bit, maybe a month or two and was met with this when trying to get on, this has happened before to my game pass games (except for gta5 for some reason) but this is a game I bought off the Microsoft store and this is my home Xbox so why can't I play this??

In case the game needs to update itself. For better or worse, that’s how it works these days.
If the console was offline for a long time it might be there needs to be a check to see if the license if still valid.
