What happened to Mario’s McDonald’s collections?

I know this might not be a very interesting question, but back in the day, practically every year there was a new Mario collection. I have the Mario Kart 8 collection from 2014, etc… but now there are hardly any Mario collections. The most recent one was the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe collection from 2024, which was basically the same figures as the 2014 one but with removable parts for some characters. And the Super Mario Bros. movie collection from 2023 had very similar designs to the previous collections, for example, the Mario in the pipe, which was practically the same thing. Why did they stop making Mario collections and make them less creative?
