Quick description of each tier:
Flagship: These are system sellers, and will always get new games as long as Nintendo exists. EVERYONE knows what these franchises are, even non-gamers
Mainstay: These are important to Nintendo, and usually get at least one new game per system. They don't necessarily sell systems, but they fill out the system's library nicely
It Exists: These franchises do well enough to get a new game once in a while, but they're not exactly a priority for Nintendo
Life Support: These franchises are hanging on by a thread. Nintendo may randomly decide to give them a new entry after a long hiatus, or may not.
Dead: These franchises have not gotten any new games in a long while and likely never will

Yoshi has had new releases on each handheld system and has been getting new console releases since the Wii U days after skipping GameCube & Wii.
It can go to mainstay.
WarioWare can go up there too tbh with how many games they’ve made in that series. They don’t do ANYTHING with Wario Land anymore.
Mother series isn’t “Dead”. It’s complete. They told their stories and finished them in 2006 lol.
This whole list needs work lmao.
Pokémon mystery dungeon isn’t on life support? Did I miss anything?
Mach Rider down so many tiers it’s swimming around in Earth’s Outer Core.
The Legendary Starfy ain’t even making the list 😭
Animal Crossing isn’t mainstay at all it just got lucky with the Switch and Covid on all the other consoles nowhere near as many of the people that owned the console had the Animal Crossing game as well.
Splatoon and Pikmin are both flagships. Nintendo literally treats them, especially Splatoon, as flagships. Why does every single internet post about this exact topic need to act like they aren’t flagships?
