Yes there is. There is an option to hide non game icons. I forget where it is, but it’s there. I hid mine.

Hide System Apps: Go to Settings > General > Personalization > Games & apps and select “Hide system apps” to remove items like Settings or Xbox Accessories from your recently used list.
