Really a business just needs to look at sales in a country vs the cost to operate in said country. I would be curious if any actually do it

I must remind that this is the same country that closed twitter when 2023 earthquakes happen so the public couldn’t find about the amount of dead people.

Obviously the biggest issue in Turkey is video games, and it’s very important for the government officials, to spend their time dealing with video games instead of any other issue in Turkey.

To be fair it’s a good idea to twist the arm of company to have representation from your country … But it only work when your country is a valuable market for said company. Turkey need to resolve their economy issues and political issues first if they want to play rough like that.

If I understand this correctly in an unbiased way, It does sound like they just want local support. Which makes sense since the support follows national law and will make tech support easier for customers. Or the reps are just contact people for turkish gov that they wanna exploit.
I dunno man.
