The biggest issue I have with my setup is that my Odyssey g9 takes up too much space. Currently my monitor arm doesn’t move back any further. Also, I have plaster walls, so I don’t know how realistic it would be to mount this to the wall. Any ideas how I could set my monitor back farther and free up some more desk space?
I was thinking about swapping to the 42 in wide Karlby, but that just seems like even more of a waste of desk space.

A total of 3 arms to attach the monitors?
Can you pull your desk forward so you can push the arm further back? That’s what I’ve done with mine. Not pretty but also means you’re not having to mount it anywhere else but the desk.
you might have plaster walls but there should still be studs behind them, finding them might be a bit tricky but you could wall mount it. but i think really the issue is with the depth of your desk. you could get a deeper one, or just pull it out 12″ from the wall and have the monitor sit further back.
Both of my setups are almost a foot away from the wall. Mostly for reasons like this.
Either pull the desk forward or get a new desk / tabletop that is deeper, so that the monitor coming forward isn’t as obvious anymore. And maybe even a combination of both.
I feel like you could also play around with the arm a bit to get it a few cm back as well. It seems like you didn’t go back further than the edge of the table. I have a dif. style of arm but the first part of it basically goes backwards towards the wall.
