    1. Lg c4 OLED
    2. Vizio 2.1 soundbar via arc/earc

Right now I have my tv set to “passthrough” and ps5 set to Dolby audio. The sound bar supports Dolby and DTS but I’ve been reading that setting ps5 to ”linear pcm” is better?

Sorry I’m not much of an audio guy. Just looking to get the best out of my setup

    1. DTS sounds light years better than any other options, for my setup with my Samsung soundbar.

    2. I just leave mine on DTS unless I hook it up to my surround sound. You’ll have to do a good amount off googling to see what settings will work for your specific setup. There’s quite a few variables.

    3. If your sound bar supports Dolby Atmos, choose that. If not either Dolby Audio or DTS if the lights come on the sound bar. If you do Linear PCM, the TV isn’t capable of passing the full signal to your sound bar, so you end up with lossy audio. The only real way lossless PCM can go through is if your console is directly connected to the sound bar, which routes the video feed to the TV. But it’s not worth that
