    The main reason I bought a 3D printer 🤣 Finally I don’t have to choose between comfort and protection anymore.

    I have absolutely zero experience with CAD, made a ton of mistakes, and it took me hours just to add those 5 mm of extra space – but I’m super happy to finally have a grip that actually fits my N3DS XL with a protective case on it.

    I’m definitely going to do this for all the other DS models I own as well!

    (Original model is from Thingiverse by andy_l_85, in case anyone wants to recreate it.)

      I also have that same shell protection and was annoyed that they both could not work together. But I realized you can split the shell up into and only use the top piece while the bottom is docked to the grips. Works great for me and feels like I have protection and grip

      Looks pretty good ! How much is a 3d printer now a days? Feel like it would be smarter to save the time & money and order off AliExpress for a few bucks.
