At this point, I’m surprised there isn’t legal action, considering it was announced almost as a launch title.

    2. I’m still neck-deep in 2 and anything but desperate for this release, but it better not go the way of Steep in the end, especially as 2K titles are usually region-locked on PC.

    3. Would love to have Switch 2 patches for the 2 and Pre-Sequel while we wait. Would even play 3 if they fixed the bugs.

    4. They should concentrate on getting other versions up to par before working on Switch 2 port. On PC the game was having performance issues. Funny thing is the game isn’t graphic demanding.

    5. Played the switch 2 version at gamescom and it was terrible. Maybe it‘s for the best like that.

The game has crashed on my PS5 more than once. Getting running half-decent on Switch 2 would take some miracles.

It’s been paused at this point haha. But I imagine they’ll have to release it at some point, Nintendo did a whole creators voice video about it. I imagine Nintendo wants it on switch 2 eventually

    9. Considering it runs like ass on everything else still, yeah, it makes sense that they cans handle a Switch 2 port at all….!

(And not because of the Switch 2 or lack thereof, but because they are either unwilling or unable to optimize their game.)

      Obligatory Gearbox L

    10. It does ‘run’ on Steam Deck and with DLSS it could run kinda on Switch 2.

But maybe its better to just skip the release.

    11. But Randy Pitchford said they weren’t having to fight the Switch 2 at all to get the game running properly on it.

    12. Remember the video in which Randy Pitchford praised the Switch 2 hardware for its power stating they built the game with the S2 in mind from day one? Pepperidge Farm remembers

Really curious what exactly the hangup is? Obviously we know they had it up and running (they publicly demoed it for Christ’s sake), and with how close it got to release before they delayed it they had to have had the entire game up and running.

So what is it that could have the port’s future in question when by all accounts it seems to be most of the way there?

    14. HAHAHAHAHA second time around. i think it was gonna release on october 2025 now pausing again. Our game is optimized guys. you just need beefier pc. you should temper your expectations . blah blah blah. what a cope. Clearly missing the point yet again. you dont focus enough and hope to fix your game after it comes out. but that mentality is what causes you to cancel releases all together.

BL4 is a good game but it runs pretty poorly on even high-end PCs. Not a chance in hell it could run on Switch 2 without some serious concessions.

    16. But this was already playable? What a lazy move when final fantasy just launched and soon Resident Evil Requiem

I still have my discounted preorder on Amazon lol. Maybe I’ll get it one day, but either way I don’t even care lol.

    18. I think they are struggling to get a fell Unreal Engine 5 game to run well with using Lumens (in the Ray tracing core). Because if they cut back too much, it wont be as enjoyable.

Its like setting the standard for all the other games built on this Engine. If it doesnt run well, it may scare people away from other UE5 games or scare devs to port a UE5 game.

    19. They saw what Resident Evil 9 looked like on switch 2 and was like oh fuck we gotta delay it again

    20. I can see them releasing a port once all the DLC’s and updates are out, but even in that case that’s probably a good 2-3 years away. So for now:

      >He’s dead, Jim.

It’s amazing btw. how much they screwed this one up. They even pulled in Panic Button to wrangle this thing into existence. I hope the guys got paid well for this. 😀

Hoping we at least get a next gen fix for Borderlands 3. Far less likely would be a tiny tinas port.

I just wanna loot and shoot on the go.

    22. Seeing this news, while Capcom showed off two of their upcoming games running at 60fps, is hilarious. Typical Gearbox.

    23. The game performs poorly on basically every platform. I think there’s no way that it was ever going to run well on the switch 2. Partly it’s obviously that it’s a lower end piece of kit, but I think the bigger issue was just that the developers clearly have some issues internally with how they develop their games.

    24. There is no way this game runs on the switch 2 in an acceptable state, it’s probably gonna get canned
