      Since FF 7 Remake did so well and they said we’re getting news about it soon, I could easily see Rebirth for Switch 2 getting announced here

      How about that. I was literally *just* about to comment that I feel it’s strange that they haven’t announced the direct yet so I don’t think it’ll happen this week. Good thing I didn’t lol.

      Bring it on! I know people will be disappointed by the Partner aspect but I really need to see what the third parties are doing with this thing. Hope we get some good ports of course but also some interesting new ideas.

      I wonder if we will see any updates for Pokopia here? We saw Age of Imprisonment during the previous Partner Showcase so I think it’s possible

      I know a lot of people like to dogpile on the idea of a Partner Showcase, but it gives other studios small and big a chance to shine

      Plausible games:

      * Monster Hunter Wilds

      * Monster Hunter Stories 3

      * Pragmata demo

      * RE9 final trailer + Amiibo reveal

      * FF7 Rebirth

      * Yakuza 3 final trailer, maybe 4-5-6 collection announcement

      * Orbitals (devs leaked it on Weiboo then removed the post)

      * Elden Ring

      * New ATLUS port, probably Metaphor

      * Obligatory Nintendo published game from a 3rd party developer

      Of course new games too, but I’m no leaker so I have no idea about these.

      all I want is Kingdom Hearts to fully come on the Switch 2. There is absolutely no reason why it couldn’t happen now.

      Honestly more info on duskbloods will be cool. Probably not going to get it due to it being multiplayer focused, but more bloodborne Esque games is a net positive in my eyes 👍🏻

      Also hoping for – native kingdom hearts ports for switch 2 (not shitty cloud apps), maybe expedition33 (though that’s a pipe dream if there ever was one)

      Hope we get some news on Adventures of Elliot. I quite enjoyed the demo last year and its be radio silence ever since. I’m hoping for less ports and more new original games for the switch, but I know thats really stretching it.

      Did anyone notice that there’s an 18+ rating (I’m from Australia so idk what others rating systems may be) at the bottom of the announcement on Nintendo Today? I reckon it’s for re9 but it could be alluding to a more adult Nintendo direct.

      Partner showcases are fine and I will watch it, but I really want to see what Nintendo is cooking up behind the scenes.

      May be unpopular but I’m actually really excited for this even if it is “just” a partner showcase. Switch 2 3rd party support is really strong so far so I’m actually really excited to see what’s coming to the system

      Meh. Partner directs usually end up being ports and rereleases.

      Hopefully something exciting will come out of it.
