MH:World was my first monster hunter game. I was so overwhelmed with everything that it didn’t click for me at all. Might need to give it another try sometime.

Honestly… Red Dead 2. I just didn’t get hooked first time playing. I made it maybe 6 hours into horseshoe and dropped it. Came back maybe 9 months later and played straight through and then immediately started another playthrough. Now it’s forever in my top 3 favorites.

I restarted fallen order like 5 times before finally beating it. I jumped straight into survivor after. They are two of my favorite games now and I’m looking forward to the next installment. I’m glad I went back to finish the first.

Elden Ring.
Tried it for 5-10 hours a few years ago, couldn’t get into it.
Gave it another shot a few months ago and I’m +80 hours deep. Kicking myself for not sticking with it the first time.

Cyberpunk 2077. We all know it ran like shit at release, which didn’t help the fact that I already struggle to commit to RPGs. I put it down for a few years and came back to it after I had heard it had gotten much better.
It’s amazing now. You couldn’t keep me off that game for like 2 months straight.
Huge kudos to CDPR. The launch of the game was a flop that would’ve had most smaller devs cleaning house and closing their doors, but they stayed committed to bettering their product. Now the fanbase’s sentiment towards the game has done a complete 180.
