My ds broke and won’t charge can I charge it a different way and or can it be fixed
My 3ds broke and idk if it’s fixable and thinking about buying a new one cause a piece fell off but it’s like 300$ and wouldn’t mind keeping my old one I just want it fixed
Those gold contacts are to use a dock and that will charge it. You can also replace the port with an oem port or a usb c.

welp bud you fucked it up but their are a few ways you can first try to repair the motherboard by soldering in a new chargerplug in or decided this is gonna be time to get a usb typec mod or see those copper contacts on the sides of the 3ds it can charge your 3ds just by the charging dock for em and you should be fine
