eXtremeRate Joy-Con (Switch1 /OLED) D-Pad fix

    1. Bought a transparent eXtremeRate shell for Joy-Cons, but I didn’t like how the directional pad worked, like at all. Pressing all directions at once was awful.

So, I looked at the design of the D-Pad in older Nintendo consoles, such as the DSi and 3DS, and came up with the idea of creating a rounded insert that would allow the D-Pad to tilt slightly instead of pressing straight down, just like a proper D-Pad should.

After a few attempts, many failed prints, and a few cuts to the rubber gasket, I found something that works perfectly. The D-Pad now feels exactly the same as on the og 3DS, and I am more than satisfied. I think this is a better solution than the Hori controller, which lacks many Joy-Con features.

If anyone is interested, I uploaded the STL file to [Printables](https://www.printables.com/model/1589000-extremerate-joy-con-switch-1oled-d-pad-mod) and [MakerWorld](https://makerworld.com/pl/models/2362981-extremerate-joy-con-switch-1-oled-d-pad-mod). Just 3D-print the part, press it into the D-Pad, cut a hole in the rubber gasket and that’s it. Happy modding!
