For those who experienced the Playstation Home era, was it as amazing as it sounds? I didn't live through it, but the other day I saw a documentary on YouTube and it seemed like such a cool experience for the time, it's like a nostalgic for me. It was a time when there wasn't much of that; people bought their PS and that whole environment was there to interact with. I think that service will definitely never come back. It was strangely saddening to see in the documentary the exact moment the servers shut down and everyone saying goodbye. It seems like it was something really cool, a unique online experience.

Yes it was amazing and ahead of its time.
It was alright. Could have been better but perhaps it was a bit before it’s time.
Totally ahead of its time. It was awesome meeting people. My original ps3 got the red light of death. I tried to start it one day after a delid and heating it up a little. I got to the dashboard and saw home still there. After I save some money to get it fix I’m hoping to donate whatever to to people who brought home back up.
Was fun for a little, but looking back, shoulda spent more time here while it was online…
People romanticize it a bit but it was a really cool concept that just needed more time in the oven.
It would do particularly well now as opposed to 2007
I didn’t have a playstation until later 2015. I wish I could’ve experienced Playstation Home.
It was neat, definitely ahead of its time and kinda ran badly despite decent Internet but I too feel I should have spent more time there tbh.
I think it had a lot of potential and was very unique compared to other consoles. I used it a handful of times but I thought that the text to speech feature was a bit too clunky since I didn’t have a headset yet at the time. It was definitely ahead of its time though
Cool idea, ok execution
