Hello!
I am hooking up an xbox for my teen. The controller has 2 usb connections on it. The controller is wireless so I would think one of them is for charging. I plugged a usb into the back of the xbox, which of these plugs do I use on the controller to charge it? Can I use either? Are they for different things?

The usb on the back of the controller looks like a third part ‘battery pack’. I would charge that one.

On the picture the top usb is the controller itself. Does not charge the pack. The second plug it is the battery. Xbox controllers need 2 aa batterys. So it is a 3rd party battery pack.
That looks like a third party battery.
So to charge it you have to plug the cable to the battery, and to use the controller with a cable you have to use the top one.
