It absolutely will not unless it’s going to cost over 2000 $2500 even with Sony backing it

This is a product that most likely will release at the end of 2028.
People can’t be talking about prices right now lol.

No one needs this. The PS5 is not even utilised properly.

The $750 price of the PS5 Pro already had me thinking that the PS6 could start at $750-$800. But if they try to get this thing out within the expected release window (2028-ish), then we could be seeing a price much closer to $1,000. Unless they loaded up a stockpile of RAM before the price increase and think they can ride it out at the lower price until prices come back down.

Honestly if they begin to price the thing like a computer, I’ll just buy a computer.

I will squize* all I have on PS5.
With all the games I still have to play, PS5 will carry me through 2030 easily.
*forgot how to write this word. I’ll go with this version.

I’m talkin’ bout that PS Sextupple
Even with a bulk discount and Sony initially eating the cost, I have to wonder what the price will be especially as AI firms eat up all relevant hardware

Release in 2028? Jeez. Sounds unnecessary.

I think they will have to hold off on a ps6 for a while if the only option is to release it at something like 800 bucks. That will definitely hurt adoption which will hurt software sales for exclusives, and exclusives are how you drive adoption.

After being burned buying a launch ps5 and watching game companies still hold onto to ps4 and Xbox one, I’m gonna wait a HELL of a long time before buying a ps6, especially cause the ps5 load times are already really good and I’m almost 40 I couldn’t give a fuck less about “better graphics” at this point

My limit is $1000. But i know alot of people nope out after $500. The games will make or break next gen, since prices for both companies will be high no doubt. And even the pc market is in fucking shambles.

If they gonna sell a console for over 1k I am probably just going to retire from console gaming at that point and move to pc only
