Random ass place to ask this but one of my top time all favourite games is Shenmue
Would I enjoy Yakuza? I haven’t had a PlayStation long and I’d like to play through the entire series but it looks like a hell of a commitment

Yakuza 3 is one of the weaker entries in the series. I know many who tried it as their first Yakuza game on PS3 and got turned off immediately whereas a few others tried 4 first and fell in love. Still decent if you’re just interested in the anthology

I think we should stop watching ratings given by “video game journalists” who barely know how to play a video game…
Yakuza are usually a great game thanks to their narration, little chance of deceiving you.

7/10 is the correct score for Yakuza 3 regardless of which version it is. It’s not a terrible game but it’s a weak entry in the Yakuza series. Also the whole recasting thing is fucking dumb.
