LittleBigPlanet was the very first game I ever played. One of my earliest memories as a kid is racing through a Mario Kart–style level on my PS3 with my older brothers—having absolutely no idea what I was doing, but having the time of my life anyway. I remember staying up until the crack of dawn with my brothers and my little sister, watching videos from the EpicLBPTime channel or playing the Great White Shark level in LBP2. Some of my most cherished memories with my siblings were built inside that game.

But like all good things, it eventually came to an end. The day the hackers won and the servers were shut down marked the end of an era for us. We stopped playing after that because no matter how magical the story mode was, LittleBigPlanet was never meant to be experienced alone.

Fast forward a few months ago: I stumbled across my old PS3 and a dusty game case (do those even exist anymore, or am I just old now?). Inside were copies of all three LittleBigPlanet games. I knew I didn’t want to play them by myself, so my girlfriend and I started playing through them together.

Because creativity was such a core part of LittleBigPlanet, I felt an urge to make something of my own to share with the world. But with the servers gone, my Moon would’ve been empty and lonely. So instead, I decided to create something different: a new soundtrack. One that captures the joy, warmth, and nostalgia of LittleBigPlanet 1–3, and shares it with anyone who still holds this game close to their heart.

This album will be a reimagining of some of my favorite music from the Imagisphere. I hope it rekindles the same sense of wonder it once gave all of us.

Because you always have been, and always will be, most welcome…
