I got this 3DS for free so I didn't really care that it was cracked but now I'm wondering if this crack can spread easily and break the system or is it ok if I leave the 3ds in a case?
Keep it in a cover; I think it can spread if you don’t protect it.

Should be pretty simple to replace if bothering you too much just buy a replacement for the top shell and swap it out but if your fine with that one it shouldn’t affect your new 3ds xl in any way
