so i was digging around trying to find somebody i needed , and i find my 3dsxl (the main one ive had and played on was my 3ds og) i completely forgot i ever had this but the L and R buttons don’t work, is there a way to fix there ? i dont really have a budget just wondering if it can be fixed

Well there’s a possibility that they’re just sticky but more likely the buttons need replaced, if you have the right screwdriver you can probably replace them yourself(If you don’t DO NOT ATTEMPT, I’ve done that and it was a pain to get the rounded screws out), if you don’t have the correct screwdriver then maybe find someone who does, but there’s 2 small ribbon cables, maybe four for that model I’m not sure, that go from the bottom case to the motherboard these could’ve popped loose, if not the replacements should be about $15 for both sides from AliExpress
