Hi y‘all! So I‘m trying to repair my 3DS XL‘s top screen, but I‘m stuck at the hinge part. I‘m unable to remove the hinge lock, since the white part I‘m supposed to push inwards (I think) went the wrong way. The hinge doesn‘t click and the top part moves around freely, but the barrel remains in its original position and I‘m unable to see the white part. This all makes me unable to remove the ribbon cables on the other side. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since I was unable to state so in my post: The first two pictures are the current state of the hinge and the third picture is what it looked like before I started trying to take it out. Sadly, I don‘t have a before picture of the bottom part 🙁
