am trying to remove the backplate from my nintendo 2ds xl to replace the battery, but ive run into a problem. two of the screws are stripped, and i cant get them out. ive already tried the rubber band method (placing a rubber band over the screw and using a screwdriver), but it didnt work.
i considered using a drill, but the screws are recessed quite deeply, so am not confident that approach would be effective. ive searched on yt for tutorials, but i havent been able to find anything that specifically addresses removing deeply recessed stripped screws.
does anyone have any suggestions or alternative solutions?
