Listen…. Nothing hits like the OG Pokemon artstyle. During my little boy era, this was my LIFE. It's watercolor style is so cozy and the attention to detail for each design felt like an act of love.
I don't know about ya'll but these game guides carried me through so many wonderful adventures from Kanto to Alola. To this day, I refer to them often just for the experience.
Most of these I've had since I was little but ORAS, US/UM, Platinum, and XY I got on eBay.
Of the Pokemon games I don't have physical copies of, I have flash carts/a modded 3DS. My "Leaf Green" is actually an EZflash OMEGA in a green case with a Leaf Green sticker. And my "Crystal" is a EZflash Junior for GB/GBC with a Crystal Sticker. I also have new stickers on my Pokemon Red, Fire Red, and Sapphire because they were in bad shape; the carts are authentic.
I've been enjoying the 3DS recently just finishing Ultra Sun. I'm about to play Omega Ruby for the 1st time, been waiting 12 years for this moment. Wish me luck.
