Take the cover, manuals, and cart out. Get some Isopropyl alcohol (any % is fine for this kinda thing) or goo gone. Soak a q-tip and just go at it gently until it’s gone. I recommend doing this in a way where you’re wiping towards the top to prevent straining the cellophane. Use (preferably) a microfiber cloth to clean it smooth and dry. Put everything back

Probably wouldn’t hurt to dilute the alcohol a bit, wouldn’t use 90% tho

Alcohol will work, but depending on the glue could take awhile and require a lot of rubbing which can scratch the clear plastic. I always recommend goo gone, let it sit a min, then it should wipe right off with little effort. Then clean off the goo gone off with a little alcohol. The most important thing like others have said, is remove the cover and contents first so you don’t ruin any of paper.

Goo gone might help, I use it on books and game cases with adhesive residue, not sure hot well it works with aged residue.
